I know it's weird and kind of mean to nitpick such a serious video. Honestly, though, that girl would have been MUCH bloodier. Most likely a few of her limbs would be missing as well. And really, how is she to encounter ONE landmine in the center of a soccerfield where people would be constantly going over it?

I have a theory that the rival coach was hoping to get rid of the star soccergirl so planted it there while no one was looking and paid the other girl to lure her.

Target audience and tv broadcast hours. They can't show graphic violence in adverts until late at night, hence it would have to be reduced greatly.

As for this, I dont think that you understand the advert... Well maybe you do but i'm not sure. It's a hypothetical situation that anyone can step on the land mines, even the innocent. If there was a mine on the field, then at somepoint somebody would most likely stand on it. It wasn't an assasination attempt.

Actually I do understand the advert. Just making fun.

But logically speaking if there's one landmine in the middle of the soccerfield, then it should've been triggered long ago. And there'd have been a few others missed.

I'm not saying this is not a worthy cause, landmines are terrible and kill hundreds and leave thousands of innocent people crippled every year...

But...

Is it my fault?
Why is this advert saying I am standing idly by watching people die. Did I put the mines there?
Shouldn't the governments who waged the wars that put them there be blamed for not cleaning up their mess instead of people at home?

Why dump this horror on people at home watching tv? There must be a better way to raise awreness than this.

Good point.

Who would put a landmine in a middle of a football field?

I already covered it, the Rival Coach.

Damn you caught me...

Anyway it's a new innovation in soccer I'm trying to introduce... not so popular though with FIFA.
The idea is making this hellishly dull sport a little more exciting... and in keeping up with the reality tv trend these days... I think Landmines are the way to go...

Good plan, Jorath.
