The Internet is slow as hell right now, and as we speak, some gimp released a major virus and it's traveling throughout the internet and bogging down servers world wide. I hope they find who did it, and kill them.

Took upwards of a full minute to load the smileys on this thread, and the University tends to have reasonable high-speed internet access. yeah, I'm with you Big Z, hang that dude/gal up by the parts of them that they wouldn't ever want to be hung up by.

Thought it was a little slower. As if dialup wasnt annoying enough.

Haven't noticed anything here, however hotmail was taking ages to load before. Sometimes minutes.

I had some trouble with hotmail yesterday too. Ironworks was a bit slower but not much.

Nope I generally load slowly anyway, though it doesnt bother me, but I dont think it loaded any slower than usual (Damn crappy connection [img]graemlins/1pissed.gif[/img] )

we just got dsl and so far this week it's been like pulling teeth to get some pages to load. no problems with ironworks, but deviant art has been giving me some major problems.

I've not noticed any trouble, I'm in England.

Edit: Ironically enough, it is going a bit slower, I just didn't notice 'til I posted that.

Just about everything has been slow to load for me for a several days now. I really hope they nail whoever started this latest one if the virus is what slowed things down!

Same as Cloudy here, IWs has been very slow for me for a few days now. I hope they nail em too, HATE these people!

Reverse effect here, everything's happening faster than normal.

EDIT: Well, loading pages/threads is much faster now, posting though still takes about 30 seconds or more or my end.

All virus/spryware/adware/tracker makes should be hanged, drawn and quartered, their head stuck on spikes on Tower Bridge and the quartered body-parts to be sent to other major cities. I'm off to petition my M.P. to propose a white paper now...

Not sure why I would get an email from FBI, since I'm not in US. anyway, I'll watch out for it.

Loading is alright on this computer, but on our other one, hotmail doesn't seem to want to load, it doesn't come up with "page could not be found" it just starts loading and the loading bar stops half way.
