I can't sign in, it says it can't retrieve my contact list,
i went to the help site the dialogue box linked too, clicked a link and it said various services were not avaliable.
so anyone else having problems?

Well now it isn't working for me anymore and when I check for service availability it says the service is unavailable.

EDIT: managed to sign in now, but none of my contacts are signed in, which is rather strange.

It was working when Intrepid said it wasn't. Now he said it is it isn't working for me.
http://messenger.msn.com/Status.aspx says "Server is too busy" in nice big Comic Sans letters.

Now it's down for me too. I had the same problem earlier today, but it went away..

I'm online now, but it only shows Ross as online for me and he is away.

Still won't let me sign on. Says there "is a problem with my internet connection".

Strange...

Yeah I spoke to soon. It's down again.

It seems that it works for some people and does not for others. I am speaking to The God That Failed over MSN now so at least for some people it works.

I get an error "Error connecting to notification server" in gaim and it's been like that for a couple of hours now but I don't care much lol

I've found that Windows Messenger does work. Whereas MSN Messenger doesn't. They still operate on the same network or whatever you want to call it. So yeah, problem solved [img]smile.gif[/img]

MSN Messenger works for me now.
