Happy New Year everybody!!! Well still 6-10 hours to go for the US, but in the majority of Europe it is already 2005. I wish everyone a very good new year, full of successes.

Sir Goulum 12-31-2004 06:32 PM

You're 7 and a half hours early! Slow down, and let me catch up! ;)

Jorath Calar 12-31-2004 07:03 PM

12 minutes into the new year here... amazingly the storm is over, really nice weather sudeenly (I'm going to take it as a good sign...
I just finished toasting the new year with my parents and some neighbors that came over... and damn the fireworks are flying now...

SO Cheers Ironworks, Happy 2005 and may it bring you all happiness and good will... and... okey I'll shut up now...

Dreamer128 12-31-2004 07:05 PM

Happy new year everyone. Much to my surprise, it was actually quite warm tonight. Quite too (besides, of course, all the fireworks), which was nice.

Kakero 12-31-2004 07:05 PM

SomeGuy already heard my ranting, but really, New Year sucks.

I mean, so what if we've advanced a year? It happens! A lot! Let's let off fireworks, drink alcohol, and dance with everyone we see on the street! ;)

Geeez!! I'm just sitting at home alone with some Pepsi watching old repeats of Friends, Frasier and Sex and the City. :D

I reckon I'm one of the few sober Europeans right now.

Bah, you don't want to hear my grumbling... Happy New Year.

johnny 12-31-2004 07:22 PM

I went outside to watch the fireworks, but forgot to close the door behind me. Now the entire place smells like Bantapoodoo.

Jorath Calar 12-31-2004 07:24 PM

It's Bantha, johnny... bantha

Happy new year everybody! Hope everyone had fun and safe.

Got a ball from a fallen fireworks thing really close to me. I don't think it hit me but it was really close. Really fun that it was the first thing my brother lighted and that the rest of the hour everbody started lighting stuff within like 1-2 meter from each other and the people that were looking :/. Luckily nothing more bad happened

Chewbacca 12-31-2004 08:56 PM

RoSs_bg2_rox 12-31-2004 10:41 PM

Talking to drunk friends is quite amusing :D

Looking at a can of 18p Tesco beer is amusing (God knows where they found that!)

Three minutes to go by my clock, so let me wish all our fellow Ironworkers a very happy, joyous, and prosperous new year. May 2005 bring more than you hope.

For me, 'twill bring sleep in a few. Or perhaps a bit of gaming before bed... yeah, that's it :D

Marty4 01-01-2005 12:07 AM

Happy new year, IW!

2004 seemed so short...

Gangrell 01-01-2005 12:07 AM

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Well I wasn't online last night wheee :D

Zuvio 01-01-2005 08:38 AM

How's this:

It is the year two-thousand-fiiiiiive.
The treacherous Decepticons have conquered the Autobots' home planet of Cybertron.
But, from secret staging grounds on two of Cybertron's moons, the valiant Autobots prepare to retake their homeland.
(The Decepticon Laserbeak secretly records the events taking place on Moon Base One.)

MuHahahaHAHAhhahHAHAAAAAAAa, prepare to be conquered humans!!!!

Ladyzekke 01-01-2005 10:45 PM

What is the animal for 2005? 2004 I think was year of the Monkey. Anyone know what 2005's is?

Intrepid 01-02-2005 07:09 PM

Well, new years was one big night for me...
a lot of things happened, some of which I would like to forget, some of which I really can't remember.

Teriffic way to start a year I have to say, but gosh! it was a little stressfull and weird.
