Testing Your Abilities

This is a cool trick. Try it and see! This will also drive you crazy trying...

While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.

Your foot will change direction and there's nothing you can do about it.

Grrrr, I get soo close to finishing the 6 and my foot goes crazy [img]tongue.gif[/img]

For something even harder, try to draw an 8 in the air with your hand. ;)

I guess drummers have an easy time pulling this one off.

Heh! Can do it the first time but after 2nd and 3rd time my leg is going crazy.

When not focused... I can't. When I concentrate though, I can.

Easy, i did it on the first time. Cant figure out what is so difficult.

Wait, my difficulty meter is on novice..

That's a good one. Kind of like sitting with your legs crossed then using your left hand to pinch your right toe. The mind just rebels a little....

Drives me nuts I have no hope of correcting this. ;)

I don't understand, is that meant to be hard?


Half these "tricks" don't give me any hassle at all, and the half that do I just need to think for a second before I start.


Don't look at the end of your finger when drawing the 6 or 8 if your having problems, let your mind do that part on auto pilot and just focus on getting your foot moving the right way..

I can do the rub your stomach and pat your head at the same time..

I can do it just fine... That sort of thing used to give me problems, but for some reason I'm having no difficulty now.

I had done it perfectly like 10 times before I saw that; when I focused on the finger tip, I screwed it up [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

Here's another trick for ya!
Draw an 'infinity' with the left hand, and a 6 with the right hand. Both infront of yourself.

It only works with the right foot. Try with your left, it's easy ;)
