Heh I'm just curious ;) I got odds and sods really, clothes, cd's, Dvd etc. Along with other misc. christmas stuff.

Get anything exciting??

I got money. Like I asked for. I'll probably order some CDs from it but I won't let my parents or grandparents search for the music I want [img]smile.gif[/img]

Hmmm I got shirts, undies, a new drill, Dvds, a new torch, books.

I was spoiled this year.

I got nothing.

The Quentin Tarantino Collection (for some reason with one extra disc 1 of Reservoir Dogs rather than disc 2), APC - Emotive, 3 gift cards for 3 different record stores, a pair of glove-like thingies, Forgotten Silver, Rockthology 2, 3 books (1 being a comic book)... aaand odd candle-thingy with a just as odd glass-thing to put it in. Some money too, I think.

I got an iPod (20gb), clothes, smelly stuff (I think my family are trying to say something), a clock radio, and other odds and ends.
Oh and a box...

In Epcot in Florida there was a japanese shop which sold boxes. To open them you pushed this bit, pulled this, pushed this bit, pushed that bit back in, etc.

Quite cool, but hard to open without use of the instructions or a hammer.

<span style="color: lightblue">A TV card, 2 shirts, a gift voucher for a book shop, a gift card (a cross between a gift voucher and an EFTPOS card) for one of those just-about-anything stores, and a mobile phone holder that seems to double as a hint to get my license.

Cd's Dvd's some shirts and new speakers for muh pc

DBZ Budokai 3, Smackdown vs. Raw, Star Wars Battlefront, and Star Ocean. Also got money and a dragon designed katana.

I got some stuff, a kick-ass new gaming PC and a wireless network kit. I also got an awesome pair of houseslippers and this flake-chocolate hot cocoa mix enhanced by peppermint oil. Its good by the spoonful or in coffe.

Shirts , shirts and more shirts! Can't people give me something else? My wardrobe is full and I don't know where to put these new ones.

As per request : not very much. I'm up to my butt in stuff already. So, a nice dinner, a bit of chat is enough.

I got some pajama pants, a U2 CD, $25. And MAD TV first season DVD!!!

I got a roxing Microsoft Executive Edition keyboard and mouse, and there's a chance I'll go shopping in a few weeks for a new monitor. A black one, to go witht he case and the keyboard :D

I got him half-life 2, and he got me a cool lighter.

Apart from that just clothes and dvds off the girlfriend, the usual!</font>

I received many things... from my mother and father I got:
*A new CD/tape/am fm radio player that comes with a remote control :D
*A Cd - Classified by Bond
*A leather wrist band that has a crystal studded heart in the middle
From my sister I received:
*A bag with golden coin charms sewn on it
*A gold hair piece with jewels and beads on it
*A beaded neck bag

And I think that was all of my gifts this year... oh hang on I got the Space station "Freedom" (i think it was) from Bozos of Bones :D [img]tongue.gif[/img]

My health and my daughter home from school for the holidays.

I got 4 shirts, 8 crystal bowls, 2 crystal candle holders, 1 set of PJ's. seeing my kids faces light up at what Santa left them [img]smile.gif[/img] and a well cooked meal (if I say so myself ;) ).

Best gift I got this year was a digital camera, so now I don't have a 7 picture limit anymore LOL, well, once I figure out how to operate the thing. :D

Also, two really pretty necklaces, pair of earrings, gloves, a soft as hell robe, two very soft sweaters, one cashmere, black sweatpants, a large Yankee Candle - Peach (love the peach Yankee Candle! Just a wonderful scent), lots of socks LOL, these pretty little old fashioned perfum bottles, that are empty, I'm never gonna use em but will put them in my large sectioned window in the living room as a decoration, really soft pair of slippers that I'll never wear, cause I don't wear slippers, I don't wear any shoes when I am in my house, it's sockfeet in the winter and barefeet in the summer LOL, any kind of footwear is for outside only, a Bed Bath and Beyond shower kit with stuff in this really cool looking chrome bucket, and a nice visit and dinner with the family [img]smile.gif[/img] I really had a nice time.

I got: The Golden Ratio(book about phi), Creativity for the right side of the brain(classic drawing book), A Midnight Clear(I'll find out, probably a war book), and Naked Empire. I also got I Robot, 'In Living Color' Season 2, and 'Family Guy' Collection. I also got alot of nice shirts and some jeans(have to be taken back, too small), a jacket, some nice shirts, and Othello(one of the more dissapointing presents. Its my 3rd copy of Othello).

You see here we have had a lot of tragedies come our way before xmas. There was a great action star who suffered a stroke and died a week before this week, and then we have had a daughter's politician choke to death because of the flames that engulfed their house (she was trapped), then the raging storms that wiped out thousands of homes and took hundreds of lives in the provinces...

Safety, health and my family intact makes this Christmas a happy one. I am not to happy about it because most things didn't go my way but I couldn't care less because I'll bounce back, and I am glad I still have the opportunity. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Anyway I got them in advance. Like the iPod 40GB, Samsung V600, clothes, and my dream phone, 8910. I bought the 8910 so that's my xmas gift to me. :D

Oh, yeah, Lauren, you got any advices on names? I wanna name my dragon :D

I got a Nintendo DS, Call of Duty Finest Hour, Some slippers (cause my dad was tired of me wearing his :D ), some clothes, an electric razor (I don't like disposible ones for some reason), some boxers (I was running low anyway, keep losing them in the field house), a new gym bag (my old one had a broken zipper, atleast it got aired out. :D ), and some candy, cause my mom likes to do stocking stuffers. LadyWendy...just how soft can "hell" be? ;) [img]tongue.gif[/img] Also, just a suggestion for your antique perfume bottles...if they are clear or clear-frosted, how about colored waters in them? That way you can color coordinate them to the setting...or to your whim. ;) [img]smile.gif[/img]

For me, it was a mixed emotion Christmas. First Christmas in my 35+ years without my Dad, so that was hard on me and my Mom. But I had her and my hubby (and the rest of my family).

Plus, I got the new LotR game for my PS2, a *BEAUTIFUL* book of LotR artwork :D , the new Harry Potter movie and LotR: RotK EE movie, and...a GAMECUBE! :D Plus various things here and there before Christmas like Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality series, a new flat-screen monitor, some new computer chairs, my Direcway internet connection, etc. :D

Lady Sedai - Yeah got lots of perfume, but not really enough to fill these bottles, I usually just use the bottle the perfume comes in LOL. Not sure if filling them with water would make them prettier or more reflective though, I think they will look OK as they are in the window in the frames.

I bought it for myself and just told the folks to chip in if they wanted. Of course they did since it made for an easy gift. I didn't need anything anyway. This thing is motorized and has 4000 stars, planets etc programmed into it. Once set up you just enter what you want to see and it does it all it's now. You can even hook it to a PC or Laptop and download more stuff with 2 CD's that came with it.

Then I got some small stuff since I told wife and family I didn't want-need anything. Socks, 2 books (Star Trek Nemesis and Earth, Final Conflict, which don't watch but wife took a chance) etc.

The other cool thing was a 1 year membership to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia!

Most of what we did was delivering gifts to low income families in our area. That was the best part of Christmas for us. :D

My partner gave me a laserpod (a lamp thingy that beams laser patterns onto the wall/ceiling), a necklace and matching bracelet, and a book. His dad & stepmum gave me a book, and his little sisters gave me a stripy woolly hat. His mum gave me a book. Haven't seen my parents yet, I'm hoping they got me a digital camera tho, or money towards one.

An electric bass, money, books, DVD´s etc.

Money, cds, shirt, t-shirts, new shaver, more money, gift vouchers, more money, aftershave, chocolate, scarf, premium bonds and that's about it. The emphasis was on money this year so I can go out and buy my new gaming pc, which will be a beast.

What I got is unimportant. What's important is that one of my good friends recieved one of the most interesting gifts ever, and so when we get back to school we have a giant naughty cake to eat.

Well, my pc is showing the same signs it did three months ago, which means that the mainboard is dying again.

And half an hour ago my pet bird died, i saw it happen.

I don't know, a while ago she layed an egg, and after that the swelling of the belly never went away. Something inside must have really messed her up. She wasn't doing too good lately, but for the last two days i could see it coming. I literally saw her die with a few last shivers, and that was it. Damn i wish i didn't see that.

Ooh, I'm sorry... What kind of bird was it? I used to have a few... Never easy to lose them.
