Though I am certainly not new to gaming. I know, I know, introductory threads, right?

Well I like introductions. They make for good ice breaking.~.^

A bit about me username:

Everywhere outside the Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale/Neverwinter communities I am known as Psi Yamaneko. Everywhere. o_o If you visit some website somewhere and see a Psi Yamaneko there is a good chance it is me. I am something of an internet busybody.

As for the "Xan" thing. Yah, there is something of a stigma attatched to calling yourself after characters but oh well. The "Xan" username predates "Psi Yamaneko" and I've always used it in the Baldur's Gate fan forums. Most in particular Interplay's which I had been a member of since the first release of BG 1. ((Anybody here use to go the INTERPLAY forums? The Xan there was me. ^^;; Infamous host of the Xan Show.))

Now I have, of course, played other games than Baldur's Gate/BG II.

I have also played

-Icewind Dale (never finished for some reason)
-Icewind Dale II (I am at the Final Boss. I'll beat the game, I promise!)
-Planescape Torment (Also never finished because I haven't ever found the time. I got it fairly recently)
-Neverwinter Nights Platinum (Just got it a couple weeks ago! I am a Bard, call me crazy!_
-The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon (You can't beat this one. Bethesda forgot to make it end.)

Aaand. . .that's it for the games that people here would be interested in. ^^;

1) I've been gaming since Chuck Yeager's Air Combat, way back when.
2) I've been asking myself that alot recently lol.

2. I'll give you the exact smae answer the last time this question was asked (see T-D-C's post).

Armageddon272 is what happenned when i first joined Yahoo mail and tried to use Armageddon, but that was taken. I tried Armageddon727 because at the time I had a strange thing with planes. But that was taken as well, so I inverted 727 to get 272, which wasn't taken. So Armageddon272 is the name I first used to sign up for anything important, and it stuck, although not very catchy.

3. A tootsie pop rapper, plastice bag,unsharpenned pencil, broken pencil, piece of plastic from a pen bag, crunpled piece of paper, and a paper clip i bent way out of shape. You have probably guessed that I use my pockets as temporary trash cans.

Note: Heavy Metal seems to be popular here, or maybe that's just my perception. You into it? I know I am.

EDIT: I checked your profile and found you put down Morrowind as you favorite game. You have my respect. And if you are like me, no life.

First off, you need to finish Planescape Torment! Oh man, you really do, it is an excellent, and unique game, nothing compares to it. [img]smile.gif[/img]

The ending movie literally made me cry, and no other game has done that.

I love the Baldurs series, been there done that, but actually am still in a multigame of TOB at the moment, but we are at the end battle now, so will soon kick it. :D

IceWind Dale is a good game too, but I thought the second one was too difficult and lacking an interesting "story". So I just zapped it of my PC, blah.

NeverWinter Nights is cool, finished it in single player game, still need to download all the add-ons so I can play some mods.

Sacred I still love, despite its errors, I haven't played it in a few months, but will never delete it from my PC until I finish it, I love the graphics so much, it is to me a "fun" game (a more colorful DiabloII type).

Also played Dungeon Seige in Single Player almost to the end, there now is an add-on, and also the 2nd one should be coming out soon. So I am wanting to entice my multiplaying partners to make Dungeon Seige our next adventure together, as it is a large party and a fun game, with some pretty decent graphics as well. [img]smile.gif[/img]
