I got five [img]graemlins/blush.gif[/img] . Apparently that's above average though :eek: . I was close though with four of the ones I got wrong - Thailand, Romania, Guatemala and Estonia. I was completely wrong with Seychelles. I still have no idea what continent it's even in! I guess Africa... [img]graemlins/uhoh1.gif[/img] :D

Out of three tries I got an average of 63%. I got several in Africa wrong on each try, got most European and American countries right, but made some mistakes in Asia too. On a bright note the average of Hungarians who have taken the quiz is 60.794%!

Its all the african countries that did me in.

Too many too close.

I got Italy and USA right,

I've never even heard of the others! :D

Two out of ten... I dropped the US score by .001%, all on my own :D

African countries... pacific countries... south american countries... I haven't been to any of the ones that came up, so I was officially toast.

Uck, 70%... Where in the world are Nauru, Marshall Islands and Guayana? I can't remember the last one... Anyways, I'm glad I've contributed to bring up my nation's score by some .3%... :D

There's French and British Guayana, I could show you a map! :D

Marshall Islands are in the Ocean! :D

Yes, that is what had me stomped... But I think that French Guayana is now the Guayana they meant, as I think that one broke free...
Oh, and I've finally found Marshall Islands on the Microsoft Encarta 2003... Couldn't get that one if my life was depending on it...

They asked for "Congo", they said I picked "Congo, Republic of the". I think that should count.

Ugh.. i can't believe i missed Uruguay, i picked Paraguay instead, i think it's getting a bit rusty. I also didn't realise there was a timer ticking, i came to six answers of which 4 were correct. I had more problems finding out how to scroll the map then how to find the right answers. :D

I got 50, then 40, then 50... but approximately a third of mine were Pacific Islands (I think)... Micronesia, Polynesia, Guatamela, Marshall Island... etc...

I did something like this in geography class in school and scored 70% for about 50 countries, and their capitals as well...

So I feel unlucky :(

Stupid quiz, I only got 50% but I was robbed. Lichtenstein was easy, because I have been there, but the computer says I chose Luxembourg!!!! Silly controls would not let me select to such a fine detail.

And I should not mention I mixed up Sweden and Finland [img]graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

Yeah, well I had Malaysia and it said I picked Australia. Now, I mix up eastern European countries (though I picked Bosnia, which I was impressed with! ;) ) and African, but I do know where Australia is :rolleyes: :D

I got 8/10.

This thing is kinda funny...My first time I was asked 7 pacific islands and big surprise - I don't know those lol. Tiny little sprigs of land on such vast oceans..like New Zealand and Australia ;)

My second time I brought up Texas's pathetic score lol.

Out of three tries, I got 5, 6, and 6. Like most people, I was did in by the Pacific islands (the little ones ;) ) and African nations. Getting the regions is easy, getting the exact country isn't. I messed up in Central America, too.

It works best if you use the dot in the centre as the focus. The country you picked should start flashing so if it was the wrong one you can click again.

My first one sucked - I didn't know Belarus and most of the Micronesian ones. Second was a bit better but still some mix-ups in Central America and Africa.
Third one was best but to be fair I had a few easy ones like Tanzania, Morocco and Denmark. 30%-50%-70%
Still, downloaded political map to brush up on my geography - I used to be so good at it [img]redface.gif[/img]

I got 9 out of 10. I should get 10 because the thing said I choose bosnia instead of croatia. I know where croatia is. Blah!

It's good to know you know where my country is ;)
At this time I should point out that there is no such thing as the Holy See. What they mean is Vatican, or the Holy Seat. And it isn't even called that officially... I think someone botched this one big time.
Oh, and my score is up to 9 :D Damn Swaziland/Zimbabwe...

My second run with a globe sitting next to me... I got 7 out of 10 and boosted the US's score by the same amount I dropped it. So I broke even - yay!

I know, I know... things are getting pathetic when that's worth cheering for... ;)
