don't be

The only possible flaw is the limited number of turns. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. The best(est) game ever.

..too much of a pain to register etc..

Your missing out I tell yi! Registration takes...20seconds.

Variol (Farseer) Elmwood 11-27-2004 05:29 PM

I hate giving my email address. There is no reason for them to have that.

Gxc 11-27-2004 09:07 PM

I signed up but now im just to lazy to find out what to do. But im about to do that i guess... im that bored.

Illumina Drathiran'ar 11-27-2004 10:51 PM

AN ADVENTURER IS ME!

This is the best thing ever!

It helps to make two characters and use one to get a feel for the game, as turns are precious. Fear us! Lord and Lady Semicolon! Pastamancers and Saucerors unite!

Mwaha... I wonder how many brain cells this game will kill.

Well, Why don't you just create a nice spambait hotmail account, and give it to them instead? Besides, there is a reason for them to have it. It slightly reduces multi abuse. Or so they say.

Extremely.

I used to be on Kingdom of loathing. I was a discobandit.

Then I got kinda bored.

Vaskez 11-28-2004 11:23 AM

Haha, I like the literacy test that you have to take to enter the chat. Unfortunately many people on here won't be able to enter the chat as they don't know the difference between "your" and "you're" and "there", "their" and "they're" :D

Illumina Drathiran'ar 11-28-2004 12:20 PM

That made me happier than I can ever say.

However, it saddened me that the answers were not checked by hand. Under the question "What color was George Washington's favorite black horse?" I had written the following answer:

"Ha ha! A trick question! You see, little people know that George Washington was colorblind, and as such he had no idea what color his favorite black horse was."

Needless to say the computer claimed I got it wrong.

Vaskez 11-28-2004 12:36 PM

Heh, you can't expect them to check all the answers manually! There are like 100,000 players (apparently) at least. Also, your answer IS wrong, or at least you're not answering the question they asked. They asked what colour the horse was, not what colour George W. perceived it as.

SomeGuy 11-28-2004 12:44 PM

And even if he was colorblind, he could still see black.

KoL is pretty cool, i'm a discobandit

dplax 11-28-2004 12:51 PM

Beware dplax the pastamancer!

Vaskez 11-28-2004 01:02 PM

Heh I'm a disco bandit too. We'll see if I can be bothered to play this any more (since my turns have run out for today). If I can, then y'all better make way for Vaskez the disco bandit :D

I do feel that my answer was more correct than the answer they asked for in a situation like that.

Aelia Jusa 11-28-2004 04:12 PM

Hmmm. Well, I think your answer was wrong, because as Vaskez said, they asked for what colour the horse was, not what colour GW thought it was. However, it may not have been black, because GW may have not been able to tell what colour it was (though, as Someguy said, people who are colourblind can tell black, it's red/green they have trouble with IIRC ;) ), so he might have introduced his horse as his 'favourite black horse', thinking it was black, but in fact it was not black at all. But what colour he thought it was has no bearing on what colour it actually was, so the colour it actually was is the answer you should have given, not that GW would have been unsure of its true colour . You also should have said 'few people know' rather than 'little people know', unless you meant little people as in dwarves... ;)

armageddon272 11-28-2004 04:17 PM

Geez, that is a great link. Its even more fun than Outwar (although doesn't look nearly as cool)

Illumina Drathiran'ar 11-28-2004 04:33 PM

Aelia, this game features ninja snowmen and sabre-toothed limes. I was simply supplying the answer while in the proper mindset.

As for the "fewer" thing... Come to think of it, I think I did say fewer... But "fewer" and "lesser" have always given me problems, oddly enough.

Vaskez 11-28-2004 05:10 PM

Thanks Aelia, saved me having to lecture Illumina in that instance, but she's still acting funny, stating things that are obviously wrong... what you been smoking Ill? You think you did say "fewer"?? All you have to do is scroll up to see you said "little". I'm not gonna bother quoting, but editing now doesn't count either

I'm a bastard...

Illumina Drathiran'ar 11-28-2004 05:39 PM

I meant I said "fewer" when I responded to the initial question.

As for acting funny, I wasn't exactly serious about anything in this thread except for the fact that I tend to confuse "fewer" with "little" or "lesser" which bothers me.

armageddon272 11-29-2004 02:48 PM

I made the mistake of eating the goofballs, and now im suffering from withdrawel. is there anyway to stop this short of buying and consuming more goofballs?
