this invention is pretty scary


... Ok it is cool, but still a little unnearving to have many intelegent, self sustaining robots living outside human control.

I can imagine the robots to start attacking humans. just like in I Robot.

So it does what people do, then? Digests food and turns it into energy? Why can't they just say that?

Hmmm... That's pretty cool...

There was an inventor in the US that wanted to market an idea for robots that would "eat" crop harming bugs, in much the same manner, I believe. The huge amount of protest to robots that feed of of living creatures and more so the potential for us to become the robot food I think killed the idea.

So, how does it feel to know we will eventually make a machine that will eat us? ;)
