20 times I have logged off yet I'm still on line. I keep clicking on log off and then I click off and then click on my Ironworks short cut on my desk top and when I return I'm still loggged on.
Is this happening to anybody else? Note: Edited title to remove the ALL CAPS :D [ 11-18-2004, 10:15 PM: Message edited by: T-D-C ] |
I don't have any problems, TheCrimsonBlade...maybe you should try logging in again with a different password...I think that the failure kicks you off, but I'm not sure...or use a different browser with a different web-cache...

All is working OK for me on my end too. I just logged out, and then back in, no problem.
|
I have contacted the Ironworks with all 7 of my computers and each computer has its own E-mail seperate and different yet, even now the computer that I'm logged on with is unplugged from the wall and the last thing I did was log off. now I'm on a different computer I didn't log on yet I am able to use my crimsomblade account and I didn't log on with this computer and it uses a differen't E-Mail address and has never been used on ironworks until now, ????

Maybe its a problem with your cookie. Delete your IW cookie and try again.
Deleting the cookie will ALWAYS log you off. NOTE: Editing the title of the post to remove the caps [ 11-18-2004, 10:13 PM: Message edited by: T-D-C ] |
I can logg on and off just fine.
but last night I couldnt, and I couldnt figure out what happened. |
and here you people make fun of me for weird things?
|
No prob, here. I logged off, got Galadria to log on and off, and now I'm back. *Ignores female mumbling about useless online crap* :D
|
*gasp* why would one EVER wish to log off of Ironworks??????
|
Yeah, it's definitely a cookie issue: deleting your cookies & setting your browser to reject all will solve the "problem".
Frankly, unless you've got multiple users on some of your machines, I don't see why you're worried about it ... |
What browser? Actually, wait, let me guess: it's IE? IE has problems deleting cookies sometimes, and other files almost all the time. And before you think of going through Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Cookies/Files, that doesn't work. It leaves quite a few behind. Try switching to another browser, such as Opera or <a href-"http://www.mozilla.org">Firefox, and you will probably not have this problem, among others, ever again.

I always delete the cookies on here (can do so by going to "my profile"...
when I am at college like right now. After doing so, I can just "X" out. |
