no, it is free in personal use.
and I have had it for a few days now, since the last link clicky that I did. and it is well worth downloading.

I downloaded it on the weekend and I did the scan. Then it found some stuff but wanted to charge me to remove it. Maybe that was different adware?

Ok, I don't love you. I download the thing. It scanned and then told me I need the full version to remove it. Then it wants to charge me. That doesn't sound free to me! What's the deal here?

go here, click on adaware personal, it is free to use, and free to remove stuff, why you are getting something telling you you have to buy not sure, perhaps you do not have AdAware SE?
