Just now (9:15 ish) MSN has stoped working for everyone. Messages won't send, and if you appear offline and online it takes a few minutes to actually happen.

Anyone else having this problem? All my contacts are signing in with their names "Whats up with MSN". Its getting annoying [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Nope. signed in right now, and no problems.

Yap, having problems aswell, and when u push 'esc' in a window, and get a reply after that, it's like 10 replies at once, oh well, prolly updating servers.

Yeah - it's happening to me. It takes ages to sign in, I can't send messages, and changing my status to "busy" doesn't seem to work...

The email system still seems to be working, but whenever I log in it automatically opens Outlook Express :confused:

Rumour on my contacts says "send an email then send an IM and it works" but it doesn't work for me :(

People on lots of message boards are reporting problems, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole server comes down later for repairs.

Down for me too... It is them. They are here to destroy us, to enslave us! A communications disruption can mean only one thing... invasion.

MSN is evil, I agree. I'd change software to something else but all my friends live on MSN, no chance for me.

Someone's MSN name states that blocking and unblocking people is a way to fix it... I have yet to try it, though, as they just logged off and none of my other contacts are online.

Yep same here. Been signed in for the last few days, but I'm in the same boat. Hope they resolve it soon. Cos this sucks.

it doesn't work, some people claim for it to work, but I think its rubbish.

I can't sign in, it says the service is unavailable. Just hope its fixed tomorrow!

Just out of curiosity: Bozos and Ross what were the last messages on MSN you got from me?

I can sign in, even send messages to contacts who appear as online without getting the not delivered error, but I don't get any replies.

dplax-well I just got home from work 2 minutes ago and I had no new ones from you since the last time I spoke to you before I went to work.

I got one at 21:06. I sent you a couple of messages right now too. Tell me the number.

Bozos I did not receive anything from you since you said you were going off to do homework.

And both you Bozos and Ross still appear as signed in for me.

I'm sending you a new number each few minutes. I'm up o 16 already. You keep signing in... in the last 10 minutes I've seen 6 messages of you signing in, and a couple from Jaradu and Ross.

It's back up now guys.

I have started talking to Bozos and Ross on MSN again.

It worked for me for about 10 minutes and now it seems it has died again. :( I guess I'm off to sleep then. I hope it shall work tomorrow.

still not working here....i just thought it was my computer and laid off, i didn't know everyone was experiencing it

Update: it seems it had been working all the time, it was only Ross who got a lengthy phonecall. Apart from the first time when it did not work of course.

I've been having trouble logging in myself, even now. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.

Still not working here in the UK either :( Tried with Gaim, aMSN and Trillian. The most detailed error message I got said that it couldn't connect to the notification server...

Yep not working here. Ahwell, a day without msn, we'l just live with it. mIRC will do me fine! :D

I got kicked on and off the server all this morning but at the moment it's working.
