Here's how far i am in the mage stronghold:
1:Killed Lovak 2:Returned to Athkatla 3:Told Knights of Solamnia they were free. 4:Kicked Valygar out of my group. Whats next? |
Once you have agreed to help the knights a Cowled wizard should show up (near the entrance of the sphere with a proposal for you. Thats about as detailed as I can go without giving away a load of spoilers
|
For future reference, ive finished the game 3 times so...
SPOIL ME!!!! And there was no CW when i left the sphere. What is a complete list of Mage Stronghold? Is it because i used Valygar to open the door, then kick him out? -Brainless One |
It doesn't sound to me like you got the mage stronghold. Anyone can kill Lavok and tell the knights that they're free. Is your PC a mage? That's a dumb question, but you'd be surprised how many problems can be solved with simple questions. Is your PC multi or dualclassed? You can only have one legit stronghold per game, so if you got one from another class the Sphere will be blocked off to you.
The complete mage stronghold list is below... if you still want to see it. Spoiler alert, obviously. I don't think you should look, because I don't think you got the stronghold. . . . . . . . . . . . You must rescue the Solamnic Knights, I think saying they're free is the wrong dialogue option since they will leave (I did it too my last game and I never got the stronghold quests, the game before I didn't let them leave and got the stronghold quests). You must keep them in the room and go to Rybald, he knows a wizard who can teleport them back to their homes. I don't know exactly when but I think when the mage teleported the knights away or when you promised to help the knights, the CW will show up (in the room where the exit to the slums is) [ 08-23-2002, 05:56 AM: Message edited by: philip ] |
thanx, i am a lvl13 solo mage, kicked V out after he opened the door, he never went in. and when i talked to the knights, my dialogue was:
1: You are now free. Whoops!I have to talk to ribald, then come back and talk to them? |
I don't think you can tell them they're free if you have the stronghold. Did Lavok give you the sphere? If you have the stronghold the Knights ask you to help them get home instead of wandering Faerun... You can tell them they might like it here, but... Anyway, a Cowled Wizard will teleport in, and yadda yadda yadda, you can ask him to help you with the Knights, and he'll tell you that Ribald might be able to help. So I'm seriously doubting you got the stronghold in the first place.

Just a question. Did you agree to help Lavok?

I was asking Brainless One actually, since his "1) Killed Lavok" looks pretty ominious.
