Is anyone else an addict?
I play everytime I'm boored, which is often as I am currently unemployed.

My best times are:

Beginner: 10 (EDIT: 7)
Medium: 44
Hard: 152

Please post your best times if you've got nothing better to do :D

I think I've gotten down to 8 on beginner, 35 on Medium, and... 117 on expert. My current machine shows 11, 38, and 151.

At a certain point, your hardware becomes important in determining your score [img]smile.gif[/img] Prior to that, pattern recognition is important.

I also play the dangerous way -- don't mark any mines. If you do that, when you open the last square, all the mines will fill in automatically. But if you mis-step along the way... KABOOM! :D

It hurts... my.... mathematically challenged.... brain.... :drool:

I don't have a lot of talents, but i am pretty fast at minesweeper, on expert my fastest time is 114. Now if only there were some trade where i could use that skill.

Expert = 80 for me.

I play it quite often in case you were wondering.

Ok. This was with a bit of luck but despite the fact that I'm drunk i managed: 7 on beginner.

My beginner is 3 seconds. :D
Intermediate is 69 seconds.
Haven't got the time to play expert mode.

Damn you must be busy if you can't find 2-3 minutes to do an expert minesweeper. :D

10 seconds for beginner for me, never played the other levels...

Update:
Beginner 6 (Know I've had it down to 3 as well before)
Intermediate 30 (I actually think this is a new best for me)
Expert, still 80 (But know I've had it lower before)

It's been years since I played minesweeper, but I used to be addicted as well - I still remember my best times.
Beginner - 7
Intermediate - 31
Expert - 112

Thankfully I've now found more complicated games to aid in my efforts at procrastination and general time-wasting. ;)

I can't remember beginner or intermediate, didn't really play them anyway because they weren't challenging, but I remember expert I was under 100... maybe 94 or something. I went to check properly, but minesweeper is inexplicably gone! I couldn't even find it in the system32 folder, which is where I found spider solitaire after it disappeared without a trace from the games directory. It's a mystery! :eek:

Well I have done it on beginner (under 10 seconds definately but I can't remember my time as it's on my other computer) and intermediate. But never expert. And how do you manage without marking mines? Jees that must be hard. Well...I haven't played in a while...maybe it's time for a few games on expert. Woo. [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

wow, it looks like i need to play a lot more

out of interest what is faster; to use the double button click or to just go through, i use the double button but i don't know how efficient it is.

i dont play that much anymore so i dont have any best times ill post some later if i acually play.

I've seen clips of people winning on beginner in one second, its not just random clicking and its very impressive [img]smile.gif[/img]

I think I saw a clip of someone finishing on Hard in 75 seconds... That was impressive.

Naw... they don't match at all.

If you're a real Minesweeper nut, you should be able to determine the correct numbers for each open spot (if it were open).
