Xen 09-07-2004 04:11 PM

This reminds me of spamming!

I am Sebastian, I am 16 years old, I train football (soccer), I am a FC Barcelona fan, I am in high school and I am browsing through IW (currently). :D I came here looking help for BG2.

Aelia Jusa 09-07-2004 04:45 PM

Now I've got the song in my head. Going round and round and round. Thanks ;)

Dave_the_quack 09-07-2004 04:48 PM

Haha... Its what I'm here for. Am I detecting a hint of sarcasm in that thanks AJ? (sorry bout nickname.. its late and I didnt want to offend by getting sp. wrong.)

Stormymystic 09-07-2004 04:50 PM

Hi, I am stormy, and I am an IWholic!
ok that said, I came here looking for help with IWD I think, or it was BGToTSC can not remember which one I posted on first ;) anyway, I am a mother of 3, and am from Little Rock, Arkansas...USA

Melusine 09-07-2004 04:52 PM

I'll play.

I'm a 24-year-old student of English literature, living in Amsterdam. Looking for a student job on the side to pay the bills, no luck so far. Sing in a choir, love to cook, read, perform and listen to music, see movies and go to the pub. Have 7 novels to read for a course in Gothic literature, so I'm off now. :D

Maj 09-07-2004 04:57 PM

Hmmm sounds interesting... Well I am 18 living in Colorado, a senior in High School now. I love to read, write, and anything to do with computers. And I also came here for a bit of help with BG2. Of course this doesn't really come close to summing me up, but lets just say it's a brief summary.

That's okay, most people who spell it wrong... just spell it wrong ;) .

Well since I've grouched up your thread I should probably participate too ;) . I'm 23. I've started this year a PhD in Clinical Psychology (research/coursework) which should keep me busy for another 4 years or so. I also work as a tutor. I'm currently trying to finish my first draft of my confirmation document to show my supervisor by Friday before I get 100 first year essays to mark ( ). And now I have to go get ready to go to uni

Ilander 09-07-2004 05:20 PM

I'm Lyle...I'm not really a pirate...I'm a student in Lexington, Kentucky (USA) and I hope to be the first member of my family to bear the title of "Dr."

Unfortunately, my field is Physics, not medicine, so the road to that title is consuming quite a bit of my life now.

dplax 09-07-2004 05:32 PM

I'm Patrick, 19 engineering student from Hungary who is studying in France.

Gangrell 09-07-2004 05:36 PM

Gangrell's the name.

I'm a 17 yr. old living in southern Indiana, I'm a senior and am just relaxing from an extreme lack of work and challenges at the moment. I read and write as a hobby (and hopefully to be a paying job in the future), I lift weights, and I listen to heavy metal/rap metal rock and roll.

If I told you anymore, I'd have to kill you, but I digress

Hi, I'm Bozo(laugh and I kill you, your measely minds cannot even comprehend the letters I have to deal with. Ok, that was a bad joke, but I've had my fair share of BOZOs in the past, and when I exploded upon my english teacher who just kept clicking on me everything died down... a bit. I'm 17.93, and I'm a 4th year student of electrotechnics. Major interests include everything that has something to do with computers and just random trivia. I listen to a wide assortment of music including Prodigy, Morcheeba, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Nightwish, Daft Punk, Apocalyptica, U2, Nightwish, Red Hot Chili Peppers...
All the other gory details you'll find out in due time, so happy posting, Dave!

Hi,

I'm Tim, 23, married, a sagittarius, I like long walks on the beach.... LOL

I live in Sydney Australia and love to have a beer or 5 with my mates :D

Cheers

Dave_the_quack 09-07-2004 07:36 PM

LOL @ Lord Kathen. Heh, I was waiting for someone to do another "raging" comment like myself, consider yourself to be special. MY god.. it is now 9:30am.. I just got home from a HORRIFIC car drive home involving 2 microsleeps and traffic jams galore. My favourite food is italian; pizza and pasta, what more could a boy ask for? Id like to say COOL BEANS to the amount of participation that has been given to this thread... I assumed a lot of ppl would just see this and bypass it because... well.. i dunno, just because!

Keep going guys!

P.S. GXC... lol... you posted, but nothing about yourself... So, get to it mister!

-Dave, the deliriously happy tired one.

LordKathen 09-07-2004 08:02 PM

<font color=lime>Right on mate! I was hoping you would take like that. There was no offence intended. ;)

Hey I am Brenden a 18 year old uni student who is doing a Bach of Arts to raise my OP so I can get into Law. Thats apart from chasing almost anything in a skirt of course :D

So Dave, they pay you to post on IW during the late shift?

Vaskez 09-07-2004 09:27 PM

Dave, you really a raging homosexual or was that a joke? If the former, then I'd better cut down on my use of the word "gay" in other contexts :D
Back on topic, there is no information about me worth posting.

Ilander 09-07-2004 09:40 PM

Vaskez is Dron_Cah's uncle.

Gee, funny how you're so easily reminded of that, Xen.

Name's Drew, as is obvious by lots of members referring to me as that! I'm an 18 year old, poor, college student. I should mention that my family's not poor, just me, lol. I attend school in Richmond, Kentucky, and am also working on that whole "Dr." thing. I just recently got back from Helen's (Mike's mum) visitation. And now, I'm sleepy. Au revoir.

Edit: Like your new sig, Lord K!

I'm Alex, 20, in my third year of university, studying business administration and finance. I live in Portland, Maine, USA, but I'm originally from England/Holland - I moved over two years ago. I can't get an ordinary job here yet due to visa restrictions, so I have taken over a search engine in the hope that I can make it my job - and so far it's going extremely well. My hobbies are football, darts, drawing, and exercising my bedside manner with the ladies. I'm a Piscean and like to take long walks in the park (probably). You'll be going wild for this romeo if you manage to get a date with bachelor number two. :D

Hmm..let's see, I'm old enough to drink, vote and post in most any country I know of, married, owned by cats and work as a hammerwielder here at IW, when I'm online, anyway.

Oh and Vaskie's the cute one with the affinity for the odd witticism now and again. :D Not sure if he bites, but don't tempt fate and keep your arms and feet inside the room at all times! ;)

Welcome to posting at Ironworks, Dave the Quack! If you haven't run off by now, you'll do just fine.

Hivetyrant 09-07-2004 10:56 PM

Wow, this is getting quite interseting...
Anyway, Im Jarrad 17, and in my last 2 weeks of school, most people call me Huby (last name) and its pronounced like Hough-bee not Hubby as in husband... anyway, I love anything to do with computers, especially games and hardware, I live in Orange Australia and am currently bieng targeted by the police for a crime I didnt commit!!!

Who is Bachelor number one? Is it well known on IW who this is? If not IM SO APPLYING FOR THE POSITION!

LoL yes, it is true, I AM a raging homosexual, but some people would also call me a joke if that helps. Dont worry about offending me in any way, I often use the term as one of endearment myself. And Im also 100% sure that out of 14810 of "choc's minions" im not the only gaybo on this forum So rest assured, you wont offend me (unless you intend to of course), but you might be offending the closet posters.

The way I see it is, its their own fault that I peruse the fine threads on this site because they disabled internet access to my livejournal site. CURSE YOU RED BARON, CURSE YOU! ...Just my random comment for the day.

I think that Im well on my way to becoming a spammer.... and I have night shift to thank for it.

One last note... Is this the kind of reply that Cloudy was referring to before? I thought this would have just been easier than sending like 4 pm's... Is this wrong?

Stormymystic 09-08-2004 07:30 AM

no, this is not what she was refering to, it is the one liners mostly that she is talking about...so I am trying to make this as many lines as possible before I have to go give my kids a bath... :D

Cloudbringer 09-08-2004 08:30 AM

Stormy's right, partially. It also means things that are conversations that are mostly one-on-one replies back and forth for many posts. The kind of thing that is done in message programs like MSN or AIM etc. Chatback often happens when a couple of people are on line at one time and instead of opening MSN they just have a conversation with each other as if they were on msn while posting in a thread.

The other thread's exapanded since it began so it's not chatback at the moment. I just wanted to give you a head's up on it for future.

PS: Stormy, just making it more than one line doesn't necessarily stop it being IM material. ;)

Ok Cloudy, I think I got it. Thanks for the heads up, and be sure to keep me in line if I stuff up, k?
Spanks, Dave

Cloudbringer 09-08-2004 08:43 AM

No worries. :D

So what do you do at the TAB ? Is it a gambling casino type place?

I'm Luke, 17, also from Orange NSW Australia, (same place as Hubby (hivetyrant)). I'm a student that doesn't care much for school, i have 2 weeks and 2 days left of it and i will miss it more than anything.
As a person.... lot of people have told me i have a death wish or something, i procrastinate a lot, i like computers and would like a job with them when i leave school although i don't know if i'll get good enoguht marks for it.
This is just a point in my/our (other year 12 students) lives of massive change and it makes me nervous.
Nice to meet you Dave.

Intrepid 09-08-2004 09:23 AM

PS also same place (Orange Australia) as LennonCook

The TAB? Well... Its my state's (New South Wales) biggest gambling company, and the second biggest in the country. Basically what we do is hold race meetings - greyhoungs, horses and harness races (horses carry jockeys in chariot like contraptions - think gladiator) and let people bet on them.

At the moment we are going through a hostile take over of the company from the bigger gambling company... and they deal with casinos and stuff. So now we have one big company with fingers in many pies... and a lot of redundancies. LET US PRAY I KEEP MY JOB!

Sorry for boring you, but hey, you asked
