Well um, Ok, just so as not to seem a spammer: How's everyone doing today? I've finished my before last day of compulsory summer work, and I'll be glad to have it finished. It was boring and because it is needed for the university degree we only get paid 30% of minimum wages.

I really enjoyed my Mythology class last night, and our prof even said she'd let us watch Troy, if only to point out all of its inaccuracies :D . Friday is San Diego's annual Street Scene concert and my most favorite band in the world, AFI, are playing, along with Jimmy Eat World and Social D. Good stuff [img]smile.gif[/img] My mom got me 2 tix for my bday, so Chris and I are going. Can't wait ^^

And Sunday is of course my birthday. The not-very-big 19. Woot [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Got school today, but on the bright side it's only two classes, and one of them should go relatively fast because my friend who I sat with in science my senior year of high school is in it [img]smile.gif[/img]

Mythology??? One of my friends (an Indian American) has to take a Greek Mythology class...funny thing is, he's well educated in mythology, but being a fist generation American in his family, most of the mythology he knows is from India...

hi all, been a little bit since I came in the cafe. things have been really weird here recently. a neighbor lady passed away on tuesday, and the poor manager of the trailer park found her wednsday :( they had been friends for 7 years, so that has her broke up. I am glad it happened while the kids were at school though, they are not at the age yet to understand what death is, or what a coranors(sp?) van is :( but other than that, things seem to be going pretty good, it is hotter than it has been for a while now, and the humidity is very high, making it worse. so how is everyone else?

Sad stories eh? I am watching the news.

Sorry to hear that, Stormy. (It's coroner, by the way. Me dad's the coroner at home;)) Well, only had one class today, but my teacher is nuts! Absolutely insane. Anyways, tomorrow's prolly gonna suck, 3 boring classes. :( Then I'm driving home (2hours). Oh well, it will be good to be home. Got a lot of stuff I need to pick up, too. Everybody says that KotOR is better on X-Box. I've seen Piestrider paly it on our big screen TV and I tend to agree. You know, I have never finished KotOR. Just saved Bastila and quit. They say the final movie is cool. EDIT to add: Velk, I'm now in Dreamcatcher 3, and WTF? Anera drowned, and I'm running around with like 20 HP? This sucks.

Well, if our sick of KOTOR and want a scare, play DOOM3 I finished it last night, it is OMHO THe best game I have ever played, one of the longest games I have ever played, the best loking game I have ever played, and it is really scary!!
But ive just started playing KOTOR for the first time around, so maybe I will change my mind.

Well, I went to another WONDERFUL class today...and I finally found out what it was about...I had no clue, really, until today that it deals with the socioeconomic state of Appalachia...now, I'm not sure if it has become painfully apparent yet, but I'm FROM Appalachia, and was always pondering its socioeconomic state...so I think I'm well prepared...

Plus the professor is exactly like Dron's dad...funny as heck and a Green Bay fan...

I let my niece and nephew do that!!! I enjoy them jumping on my back...though eventually, my niece gets too rowdy, and starts trying to land on her knees on my back...which is unplesant, regardless the fact that she doesn't weigh 50 lbs...

Hello. Im pretty good. Im enjoying the addition of my new widescreen and home cinema system. It means, since its the weekend, that I can lie in bed while watching DVDs or playing games on my PS2 (unfortunately I don't have an xbox, but PS2's are pretty good too.)
