The factual errors and complete fabrications in the book really annoyed me.

Amen, brother. The idea that the John in Da Vinci's Last Supper could be a woman almost literally floored me.

Um, it *was* in the fiction section. And it had a disclaimer right in the front...


I liked DVC. I couldn't put it down. I finished it in under a day. When I needed to get up to get something to drink, I brought it with me. I only took one bathroom break. I *devoured* that book.

But that's why I prefer fantasy/sci fi to historical fiction.

Yes, a lot of people confused fact with fiction in the book. Still, despite the sometimes blurry line between those two, it made quite a nice read [img]smile.gif[/img]

The bit about The Last Supper was interesting though. My Sister, a left footer, said she always thought there was a woman in it!!

The speculation about the female in The Last Supper isn't new... I've heard that theory before.

I guess you guys should read the bestseller Holy Blood, Holy Grail (I think that is the tittle in english) it has some of the same ideas as DVC but non fictional... a really hard hitter too btw...
