There are a host of forums out there. Most are not really active anymore. With so many publishers dying their forums become dead. There are several specialty forums, i.e. relating to specific games or themes. It just takes too much time and money to maintaining a forum, unless you are dedicated to it.It's sad, I made a lot of net friends in some of the old forums. *sigh*

i just joined kenzerco's. seems ok. nathan sticks to the rp stuff there, i just checked out their general talk today. seems friendly enough, just more gamer geeks.

I haven't found any place that's better than this one for game info and help. If you need specific info about a version/patch etc the official sites may help but I've found the individual game boards here at IW to be without match for helpful and quick replies on game questions.

I dunno...IW is the only forum I've ever worked with...or wanted to...most of the others I've seen just haven't seemed as active, or as friendly, or as welcoming to the completely inexperienced...

IW IS THE ONE TO GO WITH.....it's probably one of the best forums u'll find, i mean it's got a cafe, an art corner, couple game corners, and...i didn't know this but now it's got a shop, it's like a MALL IT"S GOT IT ALL!! [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

I've been somewhat unfaithful to Ironworks some 4 months ago and I was looking for ne communities not to replace IW but to further my connections. Disaster. I've been to 4 different forums, and they all sucked. Do you believe me that on one of them there were actually people, not one but several, that were asking the mods to seriously ban them, because it was a disastrous board? IW ownz all, now bow to the Choc!

ok so maybe y'all's have just had bad luck or are simply looking in the wrong place! it is hard to find another GREAT GAMING FORUM but try other subjects of interest. like the kenzer ones do mostly pnp gaming, which isn't as well supported here, as well as comics. and for me i'm just here for the gd and there for their hackbay and gt. i also visit the baby boards at babycenter.com i love them, but hey i'm a mom! take a different interest then find another board to enhance your experience.

I belonged to several forums other then this one and have forgotten most of them by now, am totally addicted to IW. Damn you Ziroc and Choc [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Was a member at DeathMages (I think that was it) forum, as well as the Silver River and the briefly lived (and full of Spammy goodness) Shadow's Place.
