how many people choose not to smoke and still get cancer due to second-hand smoke, because people smoke in public places?
|
I think it is fair to say that in some countries, smoking in public (open spaces) is less of a threat compared to the amount of pollution/smoke inhaled from automobile exhaust, dust and etc.

It's pretty clear which posters in this thread smoke and who don't...
Anyway, my point was the written message not the no smoking sign... which I don't care for, I don't smoke, but if you want to smoke, smoke away... I dont care, just as long as you respect it if I ask you not to smoke in my own home, anywhere else, go ahead. But the written message is brilliant and we definetly need more of those... Well, it has been said that splitting a place up into smoking and non-smoking areas is like allowing people to piss into a swimming pool at one end but not the other :D
|
The sign doesn't say that smoking is evil. If smoking was evil they wouldn't have added the no smoking sign, as "Do Nothing Evil" would cover it.
