Quick,

Go look out your front window right now. What do you see?

Stormymystic 07-16-2004 06:20 PM

the neighbors trailer and some trees ;)

Jaradu 07-16-2004 06:23 PM

Nothing - its pitch black...

What a strange topic

You know, I almost expected that, being from Arkansas and all...I just thought it was too stereotypical. :D

Not really, I was looking out my front window and saw two deer eating my trees. They're regulars here, unless the dogs chase them off, but even the dogs seem to be content with them.

It got me to wondering, what everybody else sees when they look out their windows.

Animal 07-16-2004 06:34 PM

I'm just winding you up, Stormy! :D

If you weren't such an easy target... :D

Where's the coyote?

Sagramore 07-16-2004 06:35 PM

I see an overgrown pond and my neighbor chasing after his dog in his underwear (no joke)

Stormymystic 07-16-2004 06:35 PM

watching M*A*S*H :D and making the kids clean up their messes while I get started making S'getties

johnny 07-16-2004 06:45 PM

Darkness, the moon and stars, and a little green dude in a flying saucer who's giving me the finger. I'll go grab my gun now...

That SOB, he's been doing that to me for a while now.

Blind_Prophet 07-16-2004 07:10 PM

I see a elementry school play ground with no one out there.

Ladyzekke 07-16-2004 07:36 PM

Quiet evening here. One neighbor washing his fancypants Caddy. Blond lady jogging by. Some guy walking a really gorgeous looking large long haired white dog (I'm thinking Malamute?). Neighbors at the end of the street are finishing up their newly-built small deck. That's about it around here atm.

Blonde lady jogging bay? Is she hot?

Ladyzekke 07-16-2004 08:00 PM

 Sheesh. I dunno Animal, she was blond, skinny yet muscular and running, hair in a ponytail. Probably a C cup, never saw her face. Is that enough info for you?

Firestormalpha 07-16-2004 08:31 PM

I see trees, the local neighborhood wannabe gang. My parents dying van. All the duplexes across the street.

After her "don't look at me" <s>spam</s>-monster I would have expected a thread like this to come from LZ, considering how easily this thread could suddenly slide in that direction.

Ladyzekke 07-16-2004 08:48 PM

Firestormalpha, I only had the one thread, the "part 2" I had nothing to do with.

And sss... you are clearly looking at ME right now, and once again this thread is not mine, so stop it.

Sir Goulum 07-16-2004 08:50 PM

An alley, two houses, a street light, a blue honda, grass, trees, a sidewalk, a street, flowers, shrubs, some person walking a St. Bernard the same size as him...

Firestormalpha 07-16-2004 09:16 PM

I never said part 2 was your fault. But the first one definately was :D Even if DS and I were some of the major contributors.

Sounds like someone is dissin' my thread!

Personally, I see nothing wrong with looking at a hot woman. It's kinda like window shopping. :D It's okay to look as long as you don't touch. ;)

Bungleau 07-16-2004 10:47 PM

I wuz just thinkin' that if'n she was out joggin' in one o' them joggin' suits, an' it wuz a toasty day, she'd have to be hot, wouldn't she? I mean, less'n she wuz runnin' with a portable air conditioner, that is... :D

Or did you all mean something else?

Out here, it's dark and late at night. Nothing... not even the stars in the sky...

Ladyzekke 07-16-2004 11:14 PM

Bungleau has a point. Umm,,,, a point in the total dark apparently, so that's like, really dark and stuff.

Lauren 07-17-2004 12:15 AM

I see a big poofy tree, an antenna sticking out of a house and some power lines.

shadowhound 07-17-2004 12:40 AM

I see my mother hosing down the drive way and my brother's idiotic friend's bike.

vesselle 07-17-2004 01:14 AM

i don't have a front window. i live in a nyc apt bldg.
but i do have a back window that looks out onto the breezeway and my fire escape. the breezeway has skinny trees in it and lotsa grass & weeds, and big ole wall separating this street's apt bldgs from the next street's apt bldgs. the wall is concrete blocks about 6' tall and has big sharp bits of broken bottles cemented onto the top.

picturesque, huh?

V***V

Cloudbringer 07-17-2004 01:39 AM

It's dark, but the streetlight is on that side of the street- there's the neighbor's house and driveway with all of their vehicles (two cars and a truck) and the street light. Of course that's if I look over the five foot rose shrub on my front lawn.

This morning I looked out a back window and there was a rabbit sitting on my patio. We have tons of cottontails out there- they have baby bunnies under the shed and out in the mugo pines every year.

We had deer out front last spring, though!

Megabot 07-17-2004 04:07 AM

I see 3 of my cars, 1 camper, 1 boat on a hanger and tons of trees

Chewbacca 07-17-2004 04:08 AM

A parking lot, an ATM, some trees and a lake.

A few weeks ago I looked out the window and saw a police chase end in the parking lot and three fellows jumped out of the car and ran just before the 3 cop cars showed up on the scene. I called 9-11 to report which way they ran because the cops started looking in the wrong direction.

If you don't want to be overrun by rabbits, I'd suggest you deal with that ASAP. A couple of rabbits are cute, a couple of hundered are a nuisance.

LS0158 07-18-2004 05:34 PM

My little sister walking one of our CATS on the driveway. For some reason, my mom got a harness and leash for one of our cats!

Stratos 07-18-2004 05:38 PM

The local neighbourhood. Light in a few windows. A playground. Grass.

Aerich 07-18-2004 07:35 PM

My front yard. The quiet street. The driveway that needs sweeping because our evergreen isn't getting enough water and is shedding dead needles. A garden with some flowers in it. The yucca plant we can't get rid of (it's been hacked out three times and still regrows itself).

Also see my neighbour's ugly yellow VW van.

Dron_Cah 07-18-2004 07:51 PM

well, i saw my front yard, my car, neighbor's house, and Lyn, riding his bike. (Lyn is a local man, about 30, and a bit slow, so he rides a bike, rather than drives.) and, uh, there are lots of flowers.

Lauren 07-18-2004 08:32 PM

It is now day two of looking through my window, and today I have picked a different front window and what i see are palm trees, cars driving past and a brick wall on the other side of the road.

Dark street, 4 streetlights, a house with lots of lights, and lots of trees

quietman1920 07-19-2004 10:43 AM

I see two patio chairs (that I forgot to put back on the patio)and a broom that my son was plaing with. There's a car in the driveway and an SUV parked in the steet in front. One of the neighbor's boys just rode by on his bike.

bjorn 07-19-2004 11:00 AM

I live on the eight floor so i have a pretty good veiw (i can't spell that word for some reason and i can't look it up now :D ) of Gothenburg.

It's a beutiful town.

They don't nibble the trees/shrubs too much in normal winters and I don't mind them eating the clover in the yard...they leave good fertilizer, anyway! :D

Animal 07-19-2004 12:27 PM

It sounds like most people live in urban or semi-urban areas. The nearest street light for me is about 5 miles away, the nearest neighbor is about 1 mile.
