After I installed the Sola Mod I went to the De'Arnise Keep and there I found "loads" of Spirit Trolls. Then something funny happened, I used my Quivering Palms on one ST and it said that it is "dead", and I got 12000xp for that , but I found out that I could still kill it with a Flame Sword, and I got another 12000xp!!! That is so sweet! Maybe I could try it on the Troll Leader... he he he...

Well if you're gonna exploit bugs to get EXP I might as well mention that you can use Imprisonment (or if you're lower level, Flesh to Stone) on a strong enemy, get the EXP, then remedy the situation (Freedom or Stone to Flesh) then do it over and over and over again and before you know it the game isn't fun any more cause you can kill everything without breaking a sweat! Woo hoo... Or not.

OR! You could exploit the Galvena bug! Or the Suldenesselar temple bug! Lvl your chars up to 40, all..AND voila! The game is no fun any more!!!! YAYNESS! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Or use Shadowkeeper to give yourself 150,000,000 (since xp cap for ToB is 8,000,000 this should easily give you a max level) and while you're at it, max your stats! Give yourself all spells! Five attacks per round! sorcerer max spell 9-casts 1000 lvl 9 spells a day! Resistant to everything!

Or just play the game normally and enjoy it.

Kaltia I could learn to love you, provided you're a girl. Too much cheating kills the fun. I think Six of Spades has something about what "kinds of cheats" are within acceptable limits.

Urm... guys. It is not a cheat, but a bug. It is not JI's fault that the game gave him the Xp twice. This bug also occurs when you Death Spell or Petrify a Troll. The game thinks the Troll is dead and awards you the Xp, but due to the Troll's script, another Troll is made on the floor which you have to kill again. Besides, it is a very minor bug, compared to others.

Speaking of bugs, aren´t does kind of bugs fixed in ToB?

it slays trolls. Hit them once, and they get knocked down but you get the XP for killing them, and then hitting them again kills them properly for the same XP again.

May as well take advantage of it since its not going to give you horrendous amounts of extra XP, just a little ;)

i haven't ever used a bug to my advantage and i never will. unfortunately it means my chars all suck a lot and the underdark is hard as hell for me (another reason for this may be cause i didn't do many sidequests.. oh well.)

I guess the lack of sidequests is a better explanation.
