Would anyone just happen to know where I could download a file of thunderstorms? I'm talking about the BOOMS and the THUNDERCLAPS (def. not onomatopoeia), we had quite a thunderstorm last night, and if you're like me you love to fall asleep to one of them and might try imitating one on my computer, I'll let everyone know how it works :D (providing that I find one ofcourse...)

I think you can download some of that stuff here

Thunderstorms rock!! As a little kid I thought them to be scary, but now I like them

It is weird. I found them somehow attractive. :D

Oh no, Xen is completely correct. I'll go so far as to say thunderstorms are delightfully sensual.

Thunderstorms are great, just had a massive one here - torrential rain and very noisy

I hear they're making marriages between people and violent weather phenomena legal in Massachusetts...

I have to agree with Xen and Illumina... there's a passion in thunderstorms that you just can't get with an ordinary rain. The deepness of the thunder, the spontaneous flashes of lightning, the pounding of the rain... it's all very beautiful. It's very easy for me to get caught up in a good storm. In my opinion, the best ones come in the middle of the night!

My PC used to be someone elses, and when Windows starts up I get a pretty decent thunderclap sound LOL. Dunno how it got there or where it is on my PC, but I don't mind it, as long as my volume isn't turned up too high, then it scares the crap out of me LOL, even though I've been listening to it for ages now.

Well during the storm I mentioned earlier, one of my mates got flooded out and another had his house struck by lightning, blowing up all the electrical equipment
Fortunately no injuries. |

And Vailynn, you're 100% correct You'd think that loud booms and whatnot would be rather disturbing but somehow it isn't, I guess the rain gives it a good rythem then the thunderclaps are kind of like bass drums |

Half the normal monthly rainfall for April fell in London in only two hours yesterday.
|
And I think most of it fell on me as I was walking back from the tube station...
