I will record as many predictions from as many members as I can, but remember, 1 post/prediction per Member. Afterwards, I will print these out, and put them in a safe place until Dec 29th 2004 and see which ones will be right or wrong . This is the 2nd Annual Ironworks Prediction Thread!

Prediction: I beleve in 2004, Bush will win re-election against Dean, and the percentages will be: 54% bush, and 46% Dean.

Robert Blake will be found innocent for lack of substantial evidence, i.e., reasonable doubt. He will walk free and clear. And if no other person is apprehended for the murder of his wife, then he will end up regarded as a kind of mini OJ, albeit it with much less press or attention.

Scott Peterson will fry, guilty as charged, death penalty, for the opposite reason re amount of evidence. Reasonable Guilt.

(sorry the above are court cases that are in America, so may not be known to many here on this forum). CourtTV.com can provide info on both cases though.

That's about the best I could do re predictions that I can think of.

And on the serious note, I predict that the 2004 US Presidential elections will feature GW Bush against Howard Dean, wherein Bush wins because while Dean got the support on the internet, he didn't get the voters to actually vote. Hillary was going to run, but realized that four years wasn't enough to distance herself from Bill...

I predict that many more lives are lost in Iraq before peace happens. Osama Bin Laden will be killed during an attempted capture and that all countries will now comply with whatever America suggests (or demands) for fear of attack.

I note that my predictions for 2003 have not come true.... YET. ;)

For 2004, I predict that the (notably mostly conservative) Supreme Court will strike down large portions of the Patriot Act -- the ones happening sooner will be those denying Guantanamo prisoners access to legal counsel and tribunals (of some sort) to face the evidence against them.

For 2004, I predict that "President" Bush will get elected, and then watch his approval ratings bomb as he doesn't tend enough to issues at home (inc the economy).

I predict that Doom III gets released and becomes a massive worldwide hit.

I presume that temperatures will be higher for 5 degrees in the summer.

I predict that Doom III will be released, and fail as miserably as Daiktaina ;)

My crystal balls tell me that 2004 will be the year that sports finnaly got tough on drug cheats. Most of the N.American and some European stars will not compete at the Athens Olympics due to being caught cheating or suddenly deciding they have to retire or miss the games due to a mysterious injury..... and good riddance to them [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Prediction: I beleve in 2004, Osama Bin Laden will show his face yet again, and in the aftermath of that happening, be caught. However, the USA will be critisized for their lack of preventing that happening.

I predict that we will not land on Mars.
All the missions so far have been mysteriously stopped.

I predict that... Warne will go straight back into the test team, Punter will win the AB medal, and Michael Clarke will take over from Tug.

Holland will win Euro 2004.

I predict that the U.S. "campaign against terrorism" will be continued although Mr. Bush will have lots of trouble to stabilize economy and get enough money to fund another war.

I predict that bin Laden and all his top officials will be caught just before they carry out another horrible attack on America.

Prediction:

Bush will lose to the Democratic nominee (Dean or Clark) due primarily to unprecedented low job/ standard of living growth and the true costs of (in lives and dollars)the war as well as the reasoning behind the war greatly differing from how the war was "sold" to the people.

I'm going to perdict a good year in the rock music industry
1.SOAD will get there 4th album out and it will be awsome
2.Disturbed will pull out another CD
3.Korn will start on a new cd
4.Audioslave will come out with another cd, but it wont be as good as there 1st

I predict that Britain will become more of a police state then it is now - and that politicians will push for citizens carrying around ID...

I predict that Duke Nukem Forever will again be delayed for Nth time to the "When it`s done!" date.

I predict George Bush will be voted out of office by a landslide due to massive voter turnout.

Spirit has landed! Altho my prediction got disputed only five days since making it, I'm really happy we made to the surface of Mars finally.

Well I predict that all the predictions that Aelia made will come true [img]smile.gif[/img] .

But in the spirit of originality, I predict that Australia will challenge England to another game of soccer (sorry - football ;) ), but that the game will not take place because England could not bear the blow to country morale if the "unthinkable" were to happen a 2nd time :D .
