We got a little yesterday, but I woke up this morning to about 3 inches! (alot for us) Should be a great day for the kids. Ok, me too. ;) I love snow, and we dont get much here in the desert. It is crappy out there right now, real windy and blowing snow. Not a blizard by any means, but still crappy. Should be great later. It is about 6 AM morning here BTW. :D

The weather over here in Indy has been crazy lately. Blizzards, then tropical rains, and then more snowfall, I'm just suprised all of the streets didn't totally ice over. But... suffice to say, it is raining here even as we speak

We are kinda in a "hole" with rolling hills and higher elevation all around us, and the Columbia river going right through the cities, so there is usually always some snow around us, but it melts in the air before it gets down to us.
What town are you in? Everett? If you're down this way, we should hook up! :D

Last year we had 3 feet. I live in Maryland, like right next to D.C., the capital of the US, for all the foregners.

spydar 12-30-2003 02:29 AM

I'm from northern alberta, don't talk to me about snow.

LordKathen 12-30-2003 05:57 PM

Suppose to snow again tonight! :D

Good thing about living in an apartment complex, you don't have to shovel :D

T/-/alali 12-30-2003 08:58 PM

YAY snow, we don't get much here either, so have fun with the treat!

Gab 12-30-2003 10:48 PM

There's been snow in Ottawa for over a month. For all you people who hate snow, Canada might not be the place for you :D .

okay, NOW we have snow IN Seattle. Woke up this morning at 330am, looked outside and there it was ... a snowman. Maybe in a couple of hours I won't have to go to work if my bus can't get up the hill like last time. Hee hee! :D

LordKathen 01-05-2004 03:30 AM

*UPDATE*
We STILL have snow! About 8 inches so far throughout the week. Not a whole lot, but alot for us. Tonight it has gotten real cold. Its -9f right now. Luckily theres no wind! This is by far the worst winter we have had in 10 years. Now, before all you guys that get way more winter than this, I know that its not that bad, so I dont want to hear it... ;)
For us here in the desert of Washington it is a lot. Personally I love it. I just wish people would stay home and not drive if they don't know how. For those that dont already know, I drive cab all night, so I have to be real defensive out there! Anyway, pretty wild weather we are having here, how about your updates... Cool! You guys get even less than we do. Have fun, and drive safe!!!

Snowed buttloads in Chicago yesterday. 150+ traffic accidents to welcome the first big storm of the year. Temp. is dropping today, we've got more snow now, and tonight's lows will be 5deg. F, without wind chill.

The road is still deceivingly slippery on several places, though...

shadowspecter 01-05-2004 11:55 PM

Yea...good thing is that it started snowing at my place 1 days ago and recieved 5 inches of snow...bad thing, snow melted and ice is everywhere and its -5 degrees farenhite(sp) and it takes at least 6 inches of snow here to have a snow day......the only snow day I ever had was last year on spring break....grrrr

LordKathen 01-06-2004 11:05 PM

Man, it is coming down hard out there. We are suppose to get a foot tonight! They sent all us cabbies home except 1, for contract runs. So I guess you could say I am having a "snow day" . I would rather be driving though. Its suppose to warm up next week, I hope so.
