What did you want to be when you were a child? But when you grew older and changed your mind?

When I was less than ten I wanted to be a pizza dude.
Then I wanted to be in the army!
Then I wanted to be a writer in 6th grade. But threw that away when I did horribly in my first attempt to write.

I don't know what I want to be right now. I took some career tests and I got that I like doing creative things such as photography, writing, drawing and resent regular things such as an accountant.

when my 2nd oldest brother (I have 5) was little he wanted to be either an astronaut or a dog. But he preferred dog.

I've always wanted to be an rock star, actually.

But it looks like I'll have to be an actor instead, because I don't play any instruments and I don't have the best singing voice [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Okay, first I wanted to be just like daddy and work at a chemical plant [img]tongue.gif[/img] Then I wanted to be an archaeologist, then a superhero, then a scientist, then an artist, then a writer, then an architect, then a writer again. I still want to be a writer, and it could happen because I've shown my work to alot of people and got alot of good feedback [img]smile.gif[/img]

I can't exactly remember what I wanted to be when I was younger, but since about...maybe 2 years ago, I wanted to become an author and get at least one boook published...I'm still working on that dream, and hopefully, I'll be able to fulfill it. I believe I have the skill, I just need to implement it the right way...I can't seem to stick with one story...some never even leave my head. I really need to get some down on paper. Or Word. I mean, come on, I just want the feeling of walking into a bookshop and seeing my book there! :D

My moms a chef and i like cooking for her....but i think a forensic scientist is what i really wanna be unless i some how become a pro baseball or basketball player....but its only highschool i still have time to decide [img]smile.gif[/img]

As a child I wanted to be a teacher, then a palaeontologist/archaeologist/zoologist/diver. :D Then I wanted to be a singer, then a teacher again, only at university (English)... and now I don't know.

I wanted to be god when I was a kid, yes really.
When at school I realised that it was a bit unrealist so I decided to be a genticist, close enough.
No I want to opens a shop in Shinjuki, Japan.

I've always considered being a writer, mechanic and politican.

Right now, not a solid clue. I'm thinking along the lines of maybe a teacher (math or something like that, anything but english or science or social studies :D ) or perhaps, as I've said in a different thread, a Youth Pastor (same thing as a pastor just centered on the younger group, and you typically work for the pastor) I've also been offered a job as a pool cleaner, provided I can get a drivers liscense (don't know if I want to make a career of that though)

When I was growing up I wanted to be a Youth Counselor. Out of all my friends and myself, there were very few people we could openly talk to about our problems without fear of reprisal (We weren’t the best of kids, and school counselors would be required by law to contact the authorities). I thought that if I provided an opportunity for kids to unload their problems and talk through difficult situations, I could help society.

Then I grew older and realized that would only be attempting to bandage a wound. The real fault lies within the cooperate world and how they have the ability to over work their employees which can cause harm to a family. So, I entered the field of Human Resources in an attempt to improve the work environment in such a manner that parents are able to receive the specific needs to complement their family life (Better benefits, shorter work weeks, additional vacation).

I've wanted to be a teacher, a policewoman, an interior decorator, a florist, the treasurer ( :eek: ).

When I was young I always wanted to work in professions i then considered heroic, like firefighters, soldiers, police etc.., but then later as I saw the situations these people had to live in because of the low pay they get, I changed my opinion went through several phases, and know I am set to become an engineer. I don't know about the specialty yet though.

I wanted and still want to be(still young) profesionall football(soccer) player.

I wanted to be an archaeologist.

I always wanted to be a plumber. I stuck one of my transformers toys in the toilet, and it clogged up. The plumber came, and I saw he got like 200 bucks. Man that sounded like a lot.
