Hi,
I was interersted in what other people thought the best search engine was. I use to use dog pile and then google, but I figure now there must be something better. Anyone? [ 08-23-2003, 02:16 PM: Message edited by: liz76love ] |
I think Google is still the most complete and accurate search-engine online; but of course, there are always people who will disagree.
Also, you might want to read this topic as well, which is closely related to your current question, content-wise. |
Actually, I find Google to be quite good, especially if you use the "advanced search" feature
IMHO Google is the best.
I tend to use goggle 90% of the time.
Occasional I will use askJeeves if goggle fails Truthfully I have never found dogpile of much help. |
Google is the only one i use. My AOL has enhanced searches with google, so im kindof screwed

Search engines don't get much better than Google.
I use Google for general search but I use Yahoo Japan/ Taiwan / China for local search.
I like Google and AlltheWeb for most things.
I only ever use Altavista. It always does the job for me.
I use mostly Google and Altavista.

Google...no doubt about it.

google for most stuff, alltheweb for images
google. you can get anything you want there if you know how to look. :D
Google. They really are great search engines.
Yup, google rule as a search engine. :D
Yahoo! and Google...even though they both use the same technology now I believe...
www.alltheweb.com is what I use if I don't know a specific engine tailored to my needs. State environmental regulators for instance usually have an internal search engine that works better. EPA's search engine, on the other hand, sucks.
