Reeka 07-19-2003 04:57 PM

I don't quite understand your question? There is something you want to remove?

Jorath Calar 07-19-2003 04:59 PM

What does the option say...?

try to press ctrl+alt+delete and see if you see something suspicious in the tasklist...

Gabriel 07-19-2003 05:02 PM

Yes... Why can people understand me lately?????

Okay, When I right click you get the options such as open in new window, save as, etc. I got one that only just appeared and was wondering how to remove it if possible.

It in the section that seems to include other progarms on my computer such as Incredimail if anyone heared of that.

Gabriel 07-19-2003 05:05 PM

I check there nothing in the task list.

The option say free Galleries... I think you guess it leads too, love to know how it got there.

Reeka 07-19-2003 05:06 PM

What does the option say?

This is probably a spyware, run adaware and spybotSD and see if that helps.

Gabriel 07-19-2003 05:28 PM

Andrewas where can I get adaware and spybotSD? I've got nothing to find that kind of stuff.

Jorath Calar 07-19-2003 05:33 PM

firstly i think its proabably 'sensative'. ie porn installed by any number of a million ways - even cirtain sites. the way to deal is to remove the related regitsry entry. unfortunatly i dont know enought about your situation / the registry to troubleshoot it. get someone knowledgeable about such matters to work on your machine and you should be able to remove it. ill see what i can find but im makeing no promises. i suspect someone who knows where those entrys are could do this job in seconds.

good luck

Oh well second to last resport time, visted the site, probaly not smart huh..... Found an email address, and asked the webmaster, wonder if I hear back.

Oh well hopefull I find a way.....

Zero Alpha 07-19-2003 07:50 PM

FOUND IT :D

do this:

WARNING -> do not do this unless you know what your doing. ie, dont just delete a key called windows while your in there to see what it does!!

click on start -> Run
type in 'regedit' without the quotes
press enter
you should have a few options. you need to go to Hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\internet explorer\MenuExt
in there should be a folder called the thing you dont want like 'Nudie Ladies' or whatever. delete that and your done.

(edit) dont forget to close all open internet explorers then reopen, else it wont take effect i dont think!
