Yeah, RR was messing with cables in the area and we lost connection for like 7 hours :( . We are back now! :D :D

PS: Johnny, it's summertime, folks are out having fun! [img]smile.gif[/img] IW is just as busy as it always is! (I check the daily stats). Gen Con has been slightly slower, but that is probably because of the New "Current Events" forum.

Is that a good thing, or bad? Let me know!! Should we drop that other forum or keep it? I always listen to feedback from ya! Let me know, here!! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I know that a few posters on the Current Event forum felt like there were no "light" stories. Maybe you just need to change the forum name to Doom and Gloom Topics, and bring everything else back here.

Ziroc, that's what i said, must be the time of year. Usually it's very busy here on fridaynights, but lately it's a bit slow. I can imagine people would rather go for a swim, instead of staying indoors.

I don't think there's any need to bring everything from current events back in GD. It's perfect the way it is now. ;)

Wow! We're having yet ANOTHER severe thunderstorm and my PC and the server rebooted. GRRR! For like 30 seconds, there was tiny hail.

I think it's a good thing! There's definitely a lot of 'minor war issues' that are pretty humdrum, but I was just thinking yesterday what an interesting array of topics there were! I think more varied than when we could talk about anything in GD - people seem to be deliberately thinking of appropriate topics just for the forum, like Mel's financial one for instance. I think after a while as well that'll be more common as well.

I like it the way it is. I think it is much better having the more "serious discussions" on a separate forum. GD has always been more a chatty, lighter, and more personal newsy section.
