Wich car do you like more? Ferrari or Lamborghini?
Today i saw Murciealgo(Lamborghini)...wow...what a car. On tuesday i saw Enzo Ferrari... Oh men...this is such a good car... I am adicted to adreanlin... So I like Ferrari more... What about you? |
They're both crap.
http://www.uglycars.co.uk/images/robin.jpg Now this one on the other hand is a real ladykiller. :D [ 07-10-2003, 01:26 PM: Message edited by: johnny ] |
Ferrari, IMO a no brainer. Lambo's are too fat for my taste, lots of power but lots of lard too. The Ferrari's are for the most part pure sports cars with a thin veneer of luxury, and they sound like musical art.
|
I prefer Lamborghini, especially the older Diablo series but it doesn't matter much because I can never afford it.
Johnny, isn't that the car (blue colored one) Mr. Bean used to bump into? |

Every car mentioned here is a, load of rubbish.
It's true. It's nice to have a super-fast, super-powered sports car, but the price you pay is feeling like you're sitting in an aircraft cockpit. No boot space. No people space. No comfort. Wouldn't it be better to have a car from one of the most prestigious car-makers ever, that is the height of luxury inside, is 4-wheel drive, yet can go from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds, and top out at 200mph? On top of this, it looks great inside and out, and comes with a history of superlative performance, comfort and luxury? Oh, and combine this with the reputation of the precision-engineering typical of german-build quality. The car? A Bentley. Yep, that's it - the Rolls Royce alternative. The Bentley Continental GT loks beautiful, sounds beautiful, has sports car performance, and inside you don't feel like you're trying to fit your entire body into a jelly bean. Full leather interior, ultimate comfort. Who needs to spend £600,000 on a loud, uncomfortable Ferrari F50 that sounds like an explosion in a fireworks factory as soon as you touch the gas pedal? Pfah! Instead, go for the far cheaper, infinitely more comfortable £90,000 Bentley. Yeah, you won't get it in red. yeah, you'll miss out on saying "I have a ferrari". Yeah, you'll read 60mph anout half a second slower, and not be able to go above 200mph. Yeah, you'll save half a million quid, and get what I consider to be a far better car. Anyone who pays for a Ferrari F50 is paying half a million quid for the name. Anyone who pays less than £100,000 for a Bentley is getting £100,000 worth of car. You get a sports car's performance, with the luxury inherent in Bentley's name. No contest. http://www.bentleymotors.co.uk/minis...inentalgt.html |
You don't buy supercars to drive them, you buy them to collect them.

These cars aren't really designed to be driven. After a km or two, you'd be so damn uncormfortable all you'd be thinking about is where to pull over. Don't get me wrong Ferrari does make cars that can be driven, but the supercars (Enzo, F50 et al.) are not in the category. EDIT: I put about 500km a year on my GTO, and its not even in the same league as an Enzo. [ 07-10-2003, 06:50 PM: Message edited by: Animal ] |

The Bentley is a supercar that can be driven, is meant to be driven, and is a pleasure to drive. Anyone rich enough to buy a hideously expensive car like the F50 and use it as a stationary ornament deserves to have all their cash given to some worthy cause. Like me. Why buy a supercar if you're only going to use it as a supercar shaped vase? The Bentley wins again Damn, maybe I should get a consultant's fee off them, for all the advertising i'm doing for them ;) [ 07-10-2003, 07:31 PM: Message edited by: Bardan the Slayer ] |
I know one day I will own a Ferrari......
maybe not a brand new one...........but I will own one. That Enzo wallpaper I had on my PC for ages...... The new F360 Modena is amazing.......pure amazing. Lambo's are also amazing, the new Gallardo (0-68mph in 1st gear!!!) is also amazing! I'd rather have a Ferrari tho....... I want a Testarossa in about 8 years or so, get it fully cleaned up, stick a private plate on it, and if its good nick it will then look like new. The only thing that dates a Rarri is its plate, so just get a private one. :D |
Ferrari VS Lamborghini
Winner= FERRARI! My favourite car is the Ferrari F40. It was made in the late 80's but is still very stylish, even today! Just look at it! http://www.fantasycars.com/derek/car...rari/f40_4.jpg [ 07-10-2003, 09:40 PM: Message edited by: GokuZool ] |

The Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, McLaren's are a statement. It's about being able to say, "Look, I have an obscene amount of money." Why buy a supercar if you're only going to use it as a supercar shaped vase? Just for that reason, for the collectibility. Why do people collect stamps? It's not like you can use them anymore. It's the same principle for collecting cars, just on a bigger scale. I enjoy my cars. I own a GTO, Pantera and I just picked up a 46 Ford today. I rarely drive them, thats what my Cherokee is for. I guess you just have to be a "car guy" to understand. Oh, and by the way. Buying an F50 or an Enzo would do amazing things for the...ahem...shall we say proportions of the male anatomy as viewed by the females of our species. :D :D :D |
Ferraris are so much better!! i want a ferrari 550 barchetta well any 1 will do i guess as long as its red n a convertable

Yes.
Bentlyes are very! good cars. I know they are very capable, but i nameed the topic F VS L... Bently is a perfect limo... i don`t see it as a ssport car(altough it is very sporty) Jusz think of Buggati... |
I'll take one of each, please!!

Yes what is it? Pleas give this gentleman here one Murcielago, one Enzo and one Bently please! Ok... You take credit cards? No obly cash! Ok name your price! 660.000€+400.000€+600.000€=1.660.000€ good sir... Here you go! |
if i had a ferrari i would definately drive it. Maybe if you were a collector you wouldnt, but then your just a rich *******!! Also you dont have to get a brand new one, ok so you might think 2nd hand would suck, but at least you could get enjoyment doing it up.
|
Neither, the Enzo just looks silly and Lambos are just way over the top.
Gieven a wide-open choice of supercars - definitely Porsche. |

Sure, the Enzo looks great( if you like unusually placed bulges, sacrificing aerodynamics over practicability ) but it lack the "Ooomph" factor of the Ferrari 365 GTB @ Daytona (circa 1968-73) that was known as the world's fastest car in its heyday (max speed 174 mph) or even the beautifully sculpted Ferrari Dino 246 GT (circa 1969-74). The Murciealago on the other hand looks a lot better than its predecessors such as the boxy Countach 5000S. Even the Diablo looks dated compared to the new Murciealago. Despite this fact, in my opinion its nothing compared to the sheer grace and beauty of the Lamborghini Miura (circa 1966-72). They sure don't make cars like they used to. [ 07-15-2003, 02:48 AM: Message edited by: Finn ] |
If I actually had my CHOICE of supercars it'd be an easy one...
