it would appear he has Adult chicken pox, this is really bad because I have not had them as a child, and 1 of my kids did not get the shot yet :( and he keeps scratching it, and wanting me to look at it...he is such a big baby sometimes, lol but now I can see it this is going to be a nasty summer, to add to the list of sick people, they put my father in the hospital tonight, saying they were probably going to have to insert a pacemaker :( , his normal heart beat is 30 to 40 beats a minute, so I am having a year that really sucks....
someone please just tell me when this year is over so I can wake up

I had chicken pox when I was 20 years old. I could not sleep the night that they all broke out at once, because the itch and pain was so bad. I thus was given a heavy sleeping pill to knock me out so I could rest. I had to suffer in-doors for 8 freaking days and could not even do anything! People would come over and visit, and I would hide under a sheet, and proclaim myself a leper. Tough shit, that is. Sorry to hear he has to suffer it.

I went looking for the update after you told me it was here. Good news is the pacemaker for your dad. My grandmother had hers implanted and she is sooooo healthy. My uncle Earl has had one for 15 years and he plays golf every day - he turned 93 on June 2oth. It can be a good thing!

It sounds as if they really don't know what your husband has yet! I am crossing my fingers that he gets well soon - And plug up those blasted straws!!!

lol, I have tried hiding them, but they always find them, and they think it is a game now, find what mommy hides :D , and yes it is a good thing about the pacemaker, I just hope they will go ahead and do it before he gets to bad off

So does this mean it was chicken pox and not Persian Gulf syndrome? Weird. Seems like the doctors should have spoted that it was chicken pox sooner than they did. I hear it is absoutely misearable if you get it when you an an adult.
