I've been having some troubles with IW that started a few days ago. I can log on and visit a few pages as per usual but within half an hour (it varies) IW seems to 'disappear' from my server. Any links to IW pages take me straight to a "Could not find server. This page could not be displayed" message. If i log off or visit another site for a while and come back, everything works fine again, albeit noticeably slower. It only appears to be happening on IW and it's really starting to annoy me. (Especially after writing a longish post). AFAIK nothing's happened on my system to cause something like this and i've never experienced it before. Anyone got any ideas?

This error message came up but i don't think it's related to my problem.

[EDIT: Oh, it seems you have to press quote to see the error message.]

Actually, it has happened to me in the last couple of weeks that after some browsing, the site was down suddenly for a while, and when I went away for a while it came back up again. Since it only happens about once every three or four days and doesn't last very long, I didn't mention it before. But yeah, the forum is unreachable for me too from time to time.
Sorry I can't be of any help - same problem here.

I've had the same problem lately (could not find server) + other weird stuff like Melusine's post placed in the right side of the screen next to Sever's. This looks pretty odd!!

I think it happens to everybody. I have been unable to get to IW and I am talking to Bardan and he is getting in with no problem. Go figure! About making long posts, I learned the hard way that if I am making a long post to do it in Notepad and save it and then copy and paste it to the reply. Bardan taught me to do that when I lost several long posts.

Hm...I guess I'm one of the first here to say I have had no problems...

And that would make me the second...

had that problem a week ago but it disappeared - as did my VGA adapter - god I hate my life
On the bright side I'm going to get a new one tomorrow! :D

Every now and then it's gone for a while... But never for too long, though.

I have probelmes now and then. But not for a long time. Maybe half an hour and then it is OK again

Well it makes me feel a bit better to know that it's not just me. Looks like i'll have to play the waiting game.

I've used notepad in the past for writing stories and whatnots but for general posts i'm quite complacent. If a post gets stonewalled then i usually never get round to posting it at a later date. Heh, it's not like it's that important anyway. But if this keeps up then i guess i'll have start using notepad more often.
