Aaargh cant ne1 help me? am i guessing its the same codes as the ones in the item bank over at PlanetBaldursGate?

There are three of them. This is what they are:

Inventory - what icon your weapon will have in your inventory screens. This will always start with an I. Your best bet is to find an existing item using Shadowkeeper and look for an icon you like (or use the item bank and put an I in front of the code).

Ground - what your item will look like on the ground. You are limited to a few choices here - it will either look like a sword, an axe, a hammer, a piece of armor, etc. Check what the basic weapon types have or use Shadowkeeper.

Description icon - what your icon will look like in the description screen. Again, use an existing weapon's description.

Destroyed - as above, except for destroyed status.

Your best bet, rather than starting from scratch, is really to open up an existing magic sword (you can use Shadowkeeper to export the .itm file into your override so you can then open it using IEEP). That way all the details are already there, you are just modifying them.

If it's in the override folder I think you can use Shadowkeeper.
Load your save game, select a character, go to inventory, click on weapon change item, search your item in the list and assign it to your character.

Hello!

I have an "Item Making For You" thread on this forum, feel free to go there if you ever need help. PM me if you need specific help.

Anyway, for your current problem......

The way I do it is I assign it a name that is easy to remember. Like my name and the item, "danring" for example. Then I enable the cheats. Check the cheats/hacks section of the main site. Then I pull up the cheat menu....... (CTRL + Space) and type in.......

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("danring").

Where "danring" is (Make Sure to include quotation marks) replace it with the name you assigned it when you saved. Make sure to save it in the Override folder.

This might be a bit confusing for you. If it is, PM me and I will try and simplify it.

You're Welcome!

Don't worry Felix, I've been in business five days now and I don't plan to go out of business for a few years at least!!! Might be optimistic but I am not ready to give up just yet!!!
