Manga and Anime that contains much sex and erotic, don't like that. I want it to be funny, some action, love and sadness. like Shoujo or shounen? for girls anyway it often contain much of that :D

I don't read manga, I'm afraid...but I've seen loads of anime...here we go...*deep breath*:

Gunsmith Cats, Oh! My Goddess, Tenchi Muyo, Loddoss War, MD Geist, Tekken, Sailor Moon, Battle Angel Alita, Princess Mononoke, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Love Hina, Dragonball Z...thats about it off the top of my head...I'll probably think of more.

Awesome shows indeed but what about Trigun , Apple Seed , and BLooD the Last vampire not to mention my all time favourite ever manga movie Ninja Scrolls:)

Ah! Blood I have seen, the rest not...I wanna see Ninja Scrolls as well, though, and I heard a lot of good things about Trigun...

They are all blinding although Ninja Scrolls is pretty Graphic so if your not into limbs being removed etc: its maybe not for you ... otherwise - party hard watch the whole epic series

1)Yu-Gi-Oh! (Whadja think? I was gonna pick something else!?)
2)Samuria X (Awsome, lots of sword fighting!)
3)Uh...Lemme think ah! Gundam Series
4) Outlaw Star

COWBOY BEBOP!!! I love this show! I also like Inuyasha and Yu-Yu Hakusho.

Yeah, I know about Ninja Scroll being graphic...I have seen trailers...a little unreal, I mean, there is no way a person can have so much blood, but nevermind...

I have also seen Ghost In The Shell, the film...wierd cliffhanger, but otherwise a good film...Neon Genesis Evangelion is good, but very very depressing...and very deep too...but not a happy ending...

I read some Manga (translated, obviously :D ) but mainly watch anime shows/movies.

Some of my favourites include; (in no particular order)

Neon Genesis Evangelion - One of the greatest anime series ever.
Castle of Cagliostro - Lupin III rocks!
Metropolis - Superb Sci-Fi/Technology anime
Dragonball Z - Addictive, cool characters
Slayers - Very funny :D
Ninja Scroll - Cool fighting scenes :D (and some girls ;) )
Goku Midnight Eye - Great concept. Pity there were only 2 parts.
Cowboy Beebop - Only seen 1 episode, liked it a lot!

Ah, I remember that topic. I posted there as well...I missed out Iria in my previous list...well, I guess it doesn't matter. What I find frustrating is the lack of anime in the UK. Virtually all of the anime I've seen have been at my cousin's in Germany, apart from a select few. You should see it over there! The anime stores are incredible! They have everything!

Anime

Neo Genesis Evangelion- very good. Has more than just fighting.
Read or Die- Quite cool, nice plot twistiness.
Macross Plus- Good, some emotional bits too
Those Who Hunt Elves- funny, if somewhat satirical. Pokes at other anime in the jokes.
Princess Mononoke- Action packed AND big named.
Akira- God of Anime

Manga

Gon- Old, wordless, funny
Appleseed- Better than the movie
Record of the Lodoss War- Only read a few, but it is good.
Cannon God ExaXxion- New and decent.
Battle Angel Alita- I love it! Really good incase I didn't make it clear.

I watched a couple of Anime movies once, they were pretty good. I think they were called "Akira" and "Castle in the Sky".

As you can probably tell Anime isn't really my thing, I've got a friend though who occasionally comes here on IW called Tim the Badger. He'd probably be able to give you the name of about a 100 good anime series' :D

Yeah I like the Gundam series they're good. I've read, so far, Dragonball, Gundam Wing, Parasyte, Rayearth and One Piece. And as animes I've seen Akira, Patlabor, Pokémon [img]tongue.gif[/img] and Sailor Moon. I've watched Digimon but that's just an american copy, just tryin' to make a anime but I like it anyway :D

Read Akira if you get the chance, the manga is completely different from the anime. Neon Genesis, .hack//sign, Cowboy Bebop and Chobits are pretty good to read too. I used to love Gundam Wing, but now I'm a bit bored of it :D
