Ooh, you Americans are gonna be hearing for this for the rest of the year.

Considering it was Denmark's first ever game in the A-group, a 5-2 win against USA isn't bad ;)

What I mean is that the REAL world championship is due next year, it´s also known as the World cup (remake of the Canada Cup). Right now a Canadian E-team or perhaps F-team is touring in what you call the World Championships. ;) The same goes for USA although that could be called a C-team. ;)

Perhaps I should put it like this. I live in the most hockey crazed city in the world and no one, and I DO mean NO ONE gives a dang about the "world championships". ;)

It´s still the hockey championships, and the team that wins is officially the best team in the world. Oh well, I´ve always known USA and Canada can´t play hockey anyway. It should be an honor to represent your country in World Ch. - which americans obviously lack of.

I didn't even know USA played hockey. I thought they played Ice hockey. I'm sure Holland, India or Australia will be the teams to beat in the hockey world cup.

Americans.... Hockey? I don't see how the two can even work together!

Yeah but it can be quite hard for the American and Canadian stars to represent their national teams while in the midst of a NHL play off. I wonder what Saku Koivu would say if you asked him if he would rather play in the world championships than in the Stanley cup. ;)
