It's 5 pm and I'm just about to leave work. I feel terrible, my stomache is churning, my hands are sweaty and I'm shaking like a leaf. I feel like I'm going to be sick. I haven't felt like this since last may.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Manchester Utd ? :D

WillowIX 04-16-2003 12:13 PM

Something you ate perhaps? Did you have something special for lunch? Anxiety? Or perhaps an upcoming cold or flu although I doubt you will get the latter. I think the worst of that particular disease has passed.

OT! Johnny, HI! *hugs* Where have you been hiding?

Edit: Donut, did you get a good nights sleep last night? You aren´t sleep deprived right?

Sounds like the stomach bug to me. Best way to get over it real quick is to have a clear liquid diet for about 2 days. The reason you feel shakey (if it is a stomach bug) is because your body isn't digesting properly, so it's like you're not eating. Have broth's, apple juice, things like that for a day or 2 and you should be back to feeling 100% in no time.

It could be I'm just in love!

Naaaaaah! ;)

I can't be too far wrong here, can i ?

Donut 04-16-2003 12:32 PM

I think I've found the problem:

Here's a clue

750 million people expected to watch it worldwide and I'll be there in person.

Then again - no pain no gain!!!

Come on you rip roaring red machine - lets do them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you get the chance watch it. It won't be for the faint hearted. Look out for me - I'll be the one wearing red.

johnny 04-16-2003 12:35 PM

You and everyone else. :D

They broadcast it here, i'll be watching. Matter of fact, i should be watching football right now. Feyenoord and Ajax are playing the semi's right now. I can't believe i'm still sitting here. :D

Sounds like SARS!

Kakero 04-16-2003 04:28 PM

gee johnny, I'm trying to forget about this big match. thanks for reminding me.

Davros 04-16-2003 05:40 PM

Well I watched the last minute live - 3-5am just wasn't good timing for me. And the result was a draw, so Donut's stomach will still be churning - what a pity that Barthez made that save against Thierry in the last minute if stoppage time :( . Still - all we need to do is keep winning and by more goals than the Manx rabble and it will be ours again :D .

Kakero 04-16-2003 05:53 PM

yes, sadly it was a draw. well..what a great news to start a day. :D

Okay. I'm feeling a lot better today. I should be okay until Saturday morning then I'll have to go through it all again. I can't go on like this year after year - it's really taking it's toll. Sometimes I wish I supported a Mickey Mouse team like West Ham.

I realise these run-ins to the Championship are hard on you buddy - we know you suffer so . Looks like this will be a nail biter right down to the end this year. GO THE GUNNERS!!! :D

Davros 04-17-2003 07:13 AM

Actually I just contracted that sick quesy feeling myself. I was innocently sitting down at home eating my dinner in AUSTRALIA when I suffered through 4 (count them 1,2,3,4) commercials in a row that featured that bottle blonde number 7 from Manx U. I was barely able to keep my food down.

Fortunately I drink Coke not Pepsi, and my work mobile is a Nokia not a Vodaphone :D

You got it. That's why i never have stress. I simply accept they won't win and go on with my business. Of course there's always Feyenoord, they do give me stress from time to time, but at least they beat those Ajax rookies, unlike certain other teams i know off, which are no longer allowed to play on the highest level in Europe. :D
