Scott Chipperfield ? Josip Skoko ? Mile Sterjovski ?

I imagine they must be household names somewhere, so if anyone can fill me in on the details I would be pleased to expand my education.

:D :D :D

Scott Chipperfield is a bit of a funny name for a Bulgarian!

johnny 01-30-2003 09:29 AM

Funny or not, the guy has his own fanpage.

Chipper! :D How can I not have heard of you seeing as you played for the world famous Wollongong Wolves?

</font>
LOL - what a blatant take-off of my thread ;) - they say imitation is the best form of flattery .

The odds on Chipperfield and company getting a look in other than on the reserves bench seems pretty unlikely. And I think our football players stand a better chance at Upton Park than those tennis players of yourn next week Donut .

As for the Wollongong Wolves - they won the league two years runnning a couple of years back, and Chipperfield scored the deciding goal when they came back from 3-0 down at half time against Perth. And "Skokes" and "Sterj" are household names where I come from.

Why did I bother learning English ? I could have managed with old French : "Vous êtes un poltron, Messire". ! :D

LOL at johnny :D - now you must have known I was going to bookmark this thread for re-emergence if the unthinkable happened

Autralia 3 England 1 - the good news being that the England 2nd's at least broke even (1-1) with us in the 2nd half.

I'll try to catch the highlights tonight and let you know. I'm suprised you didn't watch it seeing as it was such a big deal down under. Big screens erected to watch it - you've got to laugh! ;)

Davros 02-13-2003 05:10 AM

How did you know I hadn't seen the game buddy - you're right though :D . Sleep looked to be the more attractive option, though I did watch the last 20 mins when I got up at my standard time of 05:30 am. I did get to see both 2nd half goals. By the sounds of it, we were much more impressive in the 1st half, and I am about to watch that while having my tea tonight .
