Started selling it here in Iceland in October... as a test market for Europe I heard... it's the worst piece of... soda [img]smile.gif[/img] I've ever tried... [img]graemlins/1puke.gif[/img]

They even have the diet version out now, and yes, as you might suspect, it's gross. :D

In Australia that is easy - was first released at the MCG on Grand Final day (special promo - urgh), and I was there (Go Brissie [img]smile.gif[/img] ). If you live outside Australia then the additional info you will need is that the GF is played on the last Saturday in September. The general release was two days later on the Monday.

I think it actually makes warm coke more drinkable. That is, when one must drink warm coke, which one hopes is not often...

There was no chance of that Vanilla Coke getting warm on Grand Final Day - even though I was drinking it very slowly (ugh). It was brass monkey time that day.

I personally don't like vanilla Coke much. I like Cherry coke and Coke with lime though. It's all a matter of personal taste. I just happen to like tart flavors. Vanilla soda (known as creme soda) is good.

I actually liked vanilla coke the first time i tried it.. But as the days went on, I started "not" liking it.. and now.. I dont like it that much, but i don't mind drinking it..

I prefer lemon diet coke. Vanilla is a little too sweet for my tastes. Cherry coke? They still sell that? I haven't seen it around here for several years now!

heh yeah... but it does taste something like a cream soda [img]tongue.gif[/img] ... have you guys seen on live with jon stewart on comedy central where a chemist has an exihibit a (coke) and exhibit b (vanilla extract). jon was like so what is the secret to vanilla coke, and the chemist "well jon i cant tell you that but i can tell you we use one special ingredient i call ingredient x"... *he grabs the vanilla extract and pours into the coke... jons like "uhhh... did you just pour vanilla extract into the coke" chemist"no jon you didnt", jon"im very sure i just...", chemist "jon were going to stop the conversation now"... and you guys think vanilla cokes bad why not try pepsi's "NEW" pepsi blue. *UUGGHH :S

I'd heard nothing about it, saw it in a shop - and 'rewarded my curiosity' by getting some. I then couldn't work out if it tasted different or if it was all psychosematic because of the colour...

My wife has transferred her addictive personality to the consumption of Diet Vanilla Coke. Her habit is up to 10-12 cans per day. It probably won't lead to divorce but having to have it in the house surely constitutes cruel and unusual punishment. :D

I don't think the blue Pepsi is suppose to taste any different than regular black Pepsi, but for some reason the color does screw up your sense of taste. Anyone remember Pepsi Clear? It tasted weird for the same reason.
