Stupid time difference... the forum is dead whenever i am on, and it races past when i am sleeping... i mean it is 10.30pm and you guys in the US are just waking up... so I get left behind in topics at places, and i get bored when i am on...

Ronn_Bman 12-23-2002 09:27 AM

Another problem with time travel.

See you're posting from my tomorrow, and I'm responding from your yesterday. :D

I know your pain - Perth is in the same time zone as Singapore, so it's likely we are in the same time zone. You get used to it after a while.

Callum Kerr 12-23-2002 09:37 AM

Oh I'm USED to it all right... still annoys me tho'
And I' am amazed that people can be online at 9:30 in the morning... unless of course they haven't gone to bed yet...

Grungi 12-23-2002 09:38 AM

What - you mean you don't get out of bed at 05:30 to have a half hours log on before going to work ;)

Callum Kerr 12-23-2002 09:47 AM

I don't work... I laze around at school getting excellent grades with no effort at all... i get up at 6:45 for school at 8... but now its THE HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Grungi 12-23-2002 10:29 AM

i still tend to get up around 8-9 even during holidays or on weekends, even when i was a kid i did, good habit to get into, makes getting up for work nice n easy, esp now i go in at 10, i can get a good two hours play online, or on rpgs hehe

I don't (can't) play rpgs if i know i have to be somewhere in an hour or two. I need to be able to relax and submerge into the atmosphere. Can't do that if the clock's tickin'. IronWorks; that's a different story

Davros? You're 12 hours ahead of my time zone? Weird, I didn't realize you were in same TZ as Singapore!

LOL. That makes you thirteen hours ahead of the forum time. It's midday on the east cost of the USA on the 23rd December. It's 5 pm here in London.

*places a toy figure of a stereotypicla australian on Davros' monitor, complete with fosters can, cork hat and some other random Australian stereotype.
Also, now comes with typical Aussie slang, including an indicatory phrase on the subject of shrimps, where they must be placed and how to "stone the flaming crows."*

Yes, that might work. I reckon it would be easier just to look out the window and wait for a kangaroo to hop by ;)

Talthyr Malkaviel 12-23-2002 05:16 PM

Wait? I thought they had continuous lines of them, you know, to separate land, for example.
