My mates allways fight over this vote so I can prove them wrong
|
x-box gets my vote.
For the simple reason that Microsoft handles all online gaming. With ps2 the gamemakers handle the online stuff. |
I've played all three.
With out a doubt, the PS2 blows. Sony sat on their laurels and put out a mediocre machine. Between the Xbox and the Cube, thats a tough one both have great graphics and great games. Nintendo won back some of their old 3rd part power houses like Capcom. Micro$oft *grumble - hates to admit it* supprisingly put out a top quality product, and they have the whole PC market of games behind them. |
X-box, has better games, IMO.
|
The best is PS2! I thought it was going to win with ease, all the games on Game cube are cartoon games and all the games on X-box well there isn't any let's face it..... apart from Splinter cell and Halo and Halo 2
|
Well, the dreamcast is dead, everyone worth listening two agrees with that,
The PS2 came out next and is paying the price for that. It was never the best spec, and Sony havent exactly outdone themselves this time around. Sad to say, the PS2 is not a success in any meaningful way. Damn, I liked the PSX. Between the X-box and the Gamecube its tougher. I never liked either company, but they both have a good machine. I think that M$ will win though. The X-box is solid, the games are good and they are developed easily by any PC developer. |

PS2 all the way, better games better play control better controllers its that simple.

I'm sorry guys but the PS2 does not suck. Microsof will not win the console war. Do you know why? It's a friggin cpu! Just look at the lineup. How many games are direct ports from PC? Count them! :D Graphics aren't everything people, whether you want to admit it or not, all the platforms are at an almost even amount of power right now. PS2 is my current fav, although i've always liked Nintendo. ;) Getting a Gamecube for Christmas for the thousandth time.

PS2's is the only console to experience the Lance Vance Dance! from Vice City,

Gamecube.I shall always stay faithful to nintendo.

PS2 all the way. But don't forget the multi-functionality. The PS2 and the X-Box will play music cds and dvds, something that Game cube does not do. Though I heard you have to buy the remote to play dvds on the X-Box.

Some one told me that "Nintendo" means, "By all means do your best, but in the end it is all in the hands of the gods."

I hate XBox just because it's another micro$haft ploy to take control of an industry. Sell something at far less than it costs to produce, and milk the market for all it has once all the competition dies. Also, bear in mind one of the design philosophies was to create a snapshot of the rapidly evolving PC world and produce a design that was obsolete before it left the drawing board (the bane of all consoles, really). The upside to this, of course, is it simplifies the game designers jobs...
PS2 has the best controls and gameplay of all of these consoles, and has the added bonus of being a DVD player (and opens up possibilities for loading larger games on DVD-ROM discs). I think, since all consoles are inherently obsolete, it's best to focus on what consoles do best. |
PS2: best controller, best gameplay, most diverse selection of games, including lots of fave psx games! Plus it looks cool vertical!
Xbox: pretty but not profitable, clunky, oversized controller, some cool games. Gamecube: don't play dvd's or cd's but has cool games! I voted PS2. I hear PS3 is due out in 2005 or so? |
