Let's just say it was a totally uncalled for, revolting, disgusting, and foul picture.

I know you knocked the hyperlink but, being ever curious, I looked at the properties and journeyed to the website. I wish I hadn't. :( Nevertheless, how about deleting the whole thread?

As a general rule, I prefer to lock threads rather than delete them so that for the time they remain visible, people can see what is NOT considered acceptable behaviour.
