khazadman 11-20-2002 12:37 AM

Who?

Redblueflare 11-20-2002 12:42 AM

Not really all that funny? :D

Lord Starshadow 11-20-2002 12:43 AM

I prefer sophisticated comics such as Garfield, Peanuts, and Calvin and Hobbes.

Slizerio 11-20-2002 02:46 AM

*confused*

Paladin2000 11-20-2002 02:47 AM

Used to be very funny but the author ran out of ideas.

Dilber is...my god...is he yours?

My humble answer is:

NO!
Ooooh, okay. I understood it like:
Dilbert is... My god!!! Is he yours???
So I was like er, who or what is Dilbert? :D
But your interpretation makes more sense.

Paladin2000 11-20-2002 08:01 AM

Dilbert is a cartoon character. He has a dog which can talk and makes more money than him.

I only got into Dilbert a few years ago, but I rather like it. At the time that I started reading it, I really related to the characters. I still find it pretty good.
Comics I like:
Fox Trot
Dilbert
For Better or For Worse
Stone Soup
Zits
Ben

Comics I read out of habit even though they are not funny anymore:
Hagar the Horrible
Beetle Bailey
Hi and Lois
Wizard of Id
Adam
Peanuts (pretty much gave up on that years ago. Every strip ended with Snoopy making some lame cookie joke)

Comics that occasionally make me laugh:
Herman
Real Life Adventures

Comic that irritates me
Get Fuzzy (just not funny AT ALL. I was attracted to the art style, but after reading it a few times, realized that the writing sucks)

LOL, I remember the TV show episode where dilbert finds his long lost father in the shopping mall after some decades. His father was living in there and continuously going to a seafood place because it was "all you can eat" and he still hadnt finnished after all those years, LOL....

I enjoy the Dilbert comic strip - probably because I work in an office so bogged down with bureaucracy that I can really relate to it!

Bruce The Aussie 11-20-2002 10:56 AM

althoguh dilbert does kick arse, he is not my god. also, nobody meantioned the online comic bobandgeorge.com

Dilbert is MINE because dilber is, by far, the greatest cubicle worker's comic ever envisioned!

"Hey Liz i'm reading my PGA pro Golf game manual..." "So you're reading a manual about a simulation of a game that really isn't even considered a sport?" "Hey I drew a comic about it, what does that make me?"

And they had/still have a TV show that's got the funnay! :D

Weasel Rap!

Besides, in what other comic are you going to find this kind of action?

Dilbert is by far the best comic out there today Scott Adams makes me laugh so hard I almost wet my knickers.

Honestly anyone involved int he world of big business should be able to relate to dilbert. Scott Adams is great like that. They hang those up all the time at my work. In fact I have a few outside my cubicle.

Slizerio 11-21-2002 02:07 AM

Here is an example of the Hum0r.
Dilbert: This is my D-Chip filter.
Dogbert: I feel safer already
Dilbert: It blocks any Violence on T.V
Dogbert: There goes Sport and the news
Dilbert: It also blocks out any shows featuring dishonesty or sexual inneudos.
Dogbert: THere goes Drama and comedy.
Dilbert:Lets Plug it in.
Dilbert: Where getting nothing but weather reports.
Dogbert: Unhook that $#!& thing or i'll rip off your leg and beat you to death with it!!!

Thats not the proper version. That's off the top of my head.
I always get a kick out of that one

I want a tie like dilbert's... always curling upward, makes the world seem, kind of possitive... in an upward curving way...
