darjeeling and the finest in conversation and camaraderie.

The proprietor asks that you follow a few simple guidelines:

* any topic is fair game, but keep posts to the standards that Ziroc has set for the entire forum, please (ie: foul language is not appropriate and things should be suitable for all audiences)
-a side note from Cloudy: I see this as a place for those short
conversations about a new baby or the latest soccer fiasco, not for things that are big enough to warrant their own threads, by all means give those things the space they need and post separately!

* Please, no one word or smiley posts (Ziroc has declared them 'real spam' and the proprietor doesn't want the reputuation of "good spam" to suffer!)

* do feel free to be serious or silly and enjoy the company of others while you are here. By all means POST if you have something to say, even to start another topic , we can handle multiple chats, we're a CAFE!!! But be courteous and don't disrupt a conversation just to disrupt it.

to answer Willow's question: one more course to go to complete my Bachelor's degree in Business. Let's say I been in college too long. I started in 1995 for Associate's degree in Accounting. then I was talked into going for higher degree.
I'm tired of the pale pink hallways and doing 12-20 page research papers at the end of each course.

S'Okay, it's going to get up to 62, later. I'll put off turning on the central heat for one more day. Will have to get warmer, not a cloud in the sky, and that ol' Texas sun, (much bigger and warmer than elsewhere) will be warming things up. BTW, AW, are you about to get your degree? ;)

Goodmorning to everyone. It is only 8:00 AM here in the great white north and it is still dark out. What a bummer.

I am not even going to talk temp with you people I am from Canada and you know the story all ready. Its freakin cold here. Beside I do not know you system to well so you probaly do not know ours but if you do it is 1.18 C. Not to bad actually. Not suntan weather but close.

Yes, being a waitress at Cloudy's is... interesting... and, occasionally, life-threatening and dangerous. I *seem* to remember an incident involving Jerome, Lioness, the kitchen, a monster and cleaning up the mess with a toothbrush... in fact, there were quite a few incidents involving Jerome *smiles sweetly*
I was a waitress back over a year ago, the second one after Lioness. I spent all my days in the cafe and Blade helped me beg Cloudy to accept me as a waitress. Ah, those were the days... (isn't it great that you can go all nostalgic and "those were the days" without any regard to your actual age here? I mean, I'm sixteen ;) )
