Finally, proof of an alien visiter!

Ziroc 11-14-2002 02:49 AM

I guess we know WHY he wears that surgical mask now--he doesn't want people to see THAT! (see pic) :( yuk.

That's the saddest part of all! You have to have some serious self-esteem issues to do that much damage to your face in hopes of 'repairing' it or making it 'better'. :(

Sorcerer Alex 11-14-2002 08:54 AM

He has to be the ugliest person alive.

WillowIX 11-14-2002 08:55 AM

Aaaahh! I´m going to have nightmares for a week! Is that really facial hair or is his face starting to rot? Who needs horror movies, show them this!

His soul if not his face. A plastic surgeon explained to me that sometimes that happens when they remove too much cartilage from the nose when trying to reduce the size and reshape it. The saddest thing is that cartilage NEVER regenerates. :(

Ace of Spades 11-14-2002 09:16 AM

I agree, it's sad that his self-esteem drove him to disfigure himself in such a way. He must truly live in a personal Hell...

On a really tacky note, he kinda resembles the female ape from the original "Planet of the Apes"...

Damn...! I guess there will be a part for him in Star Wars III as one of those weird looking aliens.

Epona 11-14-2002 10:30 AM

I think it's really sad. Proves that fame and wealth don't mean a lot in the grand scheme of things, if you can end up doing that to yourself.

I do feel sorry for him, he didn't have a chance at a normal childhood being thrust into stardom the way he was, there was no way that wasn't going to badly affect him. I think he was really quite an attractive man before he started the surgery, he had a nice face when he was younger, always looked friendly and kind. It's sad the way people can turn out. :(

/)eathKiller 11-14-2002 11:09 AM

They always said his face would melt! his brains already mush all thats left to go is the outside container...

also: you know something's wrong when you see a guy growing a beard around his nose... + He needs to stop wearing lipstick with that beard... it's just wrong and he needs to cut his damn hair...

Morgeruat 11-14-2002 11:30 AM

it's not all the fault of plastic surgery, he does have a skin condition where he doesn't create enough melanin consistently (look at how he became white over the course of his carreer) I remember a barbara walkters special with him before the homosexual pedophile things came out and he discussed it on there.

in short I pitty him, but hope he enjoyed the fame and wealth while it lasted.

RevRuby 11-14-2002 12:30 PM

sorry but that is just gross, and his nose isn't the only thing wrong.

I've always considered Michael Jackson to be one of the greatest "stardom tragedies" of my lifetime. I remember 1983, when the Thriller absolutely sky-rocketed his career through the stratosphere. There was a popular poster of him back then, dressed in semi-casual clothes, laying back, propped up on his elbows (very similar to the cover shot on the Thriller album).

Like Epona said, he had devastatingly good looks. Every time I saw the poster, I kept thinking "This guy has the world at his fingertips. He has the #1 Album of ALL TIME, unlimited talent, and killer good looks". He even dubbed himself "The King of Pop" - and nobody could deny the claim. He had SO MUCH potential, but I think that it was this resurgance of his popularity that led to his downfall. He had been out of the spotlight for several years until the early 80's. Suddenly, he was the hottest thing going, and it was then that he started showing the first signs of "weirdness". Remember the sunglasses at the Music Awards? That was followed by "The Glove" for a few years when he "allowed" his brothers to start touring with him again. But he also started "distancing" himself from his fans at the same time. During the Victory tour - which reunited him with his brothers - they performed on a stage built high enough to prevent ANYBODY from even attempting to climb up on it. This meant that even "front row seats" were several yards away, so that the people could actually see Michael and his brothers on the stage.

Then the pedophile charges in the 90's signalled the completion of his downfall and shattered what little self-esteem and pride he had left.

I didn't realize he had a skin condition though. I thought his skin color was the result of "bleach treatments" he undertook to make himself more "white". I didn't see the Barbara Walters interview.

Yes, the saga of Michael Jackson always makes me sad. When I think of how much potential he had in the early 80's, and how he WASTED IT, it just depresses me. I do feel pity for him, but only to a certain degree. I agree with Magik that he did this all to himself...which just makes it that much sadder.

AzRaeL StoRmBlaDe 11-14-2002 12:51 PM

He looks like an alien. Maybe Micheal is from another planet.

Man, I'm glad this is on page two...don't have to look at that frightening pic anymore to answer!

Ronn_Bman 11-14-2002 01:54 PM

I saw a little of the court footage, but nothing this close-up.

Cerek, I've heard of the skin condition, and reports say its a legitimate disease and claim on his part. They also say wearing one glove was initially a way of hiding the condition on his hand. ;)

I really liked MJ in the 70's and 80's, and this is incredibly sad, not to mention disturbing. It is always amazing to learn how a person, with so much going for them, can think so little of themselves. A little insecurity, obviously, goes a loooooooong way.

He has thought he was ugly and that his nose was too big for over 35 years, so he spent all these years and hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to change what "he thought" was wrong. Now HE has made all of his fears about his looks come true in the very worst way. Self-fulfilling prophecy. :(

It's called "vitiligo", a condition in which patches of the skin whiten. It's clearly more visible in people of color, but any race can contract the condition, which I think may be autoimmune (the body attacking itself).

However, Mr. Jackson's problems go much deeper than a case of vitiligo, though. A truly tormented individual...growing up in a house of child abuse, then rocketed to stardom at such a young age.

-Sazerac

Attalus 11-14-2002 06:56 PM

Saz, I have a patient of Lebanese ancestry, who has vitiligo. Her skin color is patchy, like a paint horse, I have yet to see a picture of him with the patchy coloration that makes this disease. He may have tried to bleach his remaining dark places so that he would be more uniform. But, all that has nothing to do with "the nose." That is botched plastic surgery.

Lavindathar 11-14-2002 08:50 PM

You all say wasted talent.......he is still the most succesful artist of all time, with the biggest selling album of all time I beleive....also, with the biggest record deal. How is this a waste? He beat everyone else. He was a God, and just because of what he has done, doesn't mean he should be branded a failure, or a nasty person. You're all being too harsh.

If you were coloured, and had this skin condition, would you want to be coloured with light patches? No, so the only corrective treatment was an unpredicatble bleaching of the skin.

And millions worldwide have plastic surgery, why dnt you pick on them? Ok, he isn't the prettiest picture, but he still stands up for what he believes in, and although he may be physically ill, he may be mentally fine. None of us know.

Micheal Jackson - A God.

What's on his nose? Is it hair (kinda looks like that scrub brush he's got on his chin)? Or just is it decomposing? Ack!

TheCrimsomBlade 11-14-2002 09:47 PM

They transplanted black skin off of his ass to the nose area and now he has a
brown crusty nose, did anybody see his Holloween video? He is starting to look
like the Skeleton from that. Maybe he's turning into a Doppleganger that can Dance real good! But if I had all his money I wouldn't care if my face was all crusty and scary!

True_Moose 11-14-2002 09:49 PM

*sees picture, crawls into corner and curls into fetal position. Begins whimpering*

The Hunter of Jahanna 11-14-2002 10:01 PM

Michael Jackson is living the American dream!!In America ANYTHING is possible. How else could a poor black boy become a rich white woman?

SomeGuy 11-14-2002 10:40 PM

That's just wrong...

Downunda 11-14-2002 11:59 PM

Poor MJ, now he's missing his court case because he's afraid of another close-up... News Story
