Noodles says: If you're a fan of Creed, I'm sorry. I'm not sorry if you're offended I'm just sorry you're a fan of Creed. They suck. Deal with it.

Ninjamagic says: Ah, this was a fun one. My plan was to make myself look as mad as I could at all times. I also changed my shirt once more. It's going to stay like that. Seriously. The Creed logo on panel 3 comes from a woman's Creed shirt, because, well, I thought it would be funnier that way. In case you don't get the rabid fan's motions, that upward moving fist clenched motion is Scott Stapp's trademark. In the video for "My Sacrifice," he does that 28 times.(note: if you're going to try counting that for yourself, remember to look for him at the back of the bus, he does it a bunch their...on second thought, WHY would you count this? -Ed.) In case you are worried, Noodles counted that. Not me. Also, if it is not clear, I am leaping over the counter to kick the guy in the face in the last panel.

If you read some of the other comics on the site you'll notice that they have to suffer through one hell of a lot of things in their work, things which make them sour

Here's one of the true stories:

Wouldn't YOU get a bit sour if you had to deal with people like that on a regular basis?

LOL very funny strips.
That Creed one is my fave tho :D

Barry the Sprout 11-07-2002 06:25 AM

Some of those are genius... "And yet they find their way here.". Extremely funny indeed. :D

DragonMage 11-07-2002 06:33 AM

Yes, the one with 'and yet they find their way here' struck a particular chord with me as I work for a video rental store. I get asked stupid questions like "Where can I find Murder by Numbers?" duh! In the M's! "Oh! I didn't know they were alphabetical."

Well how in Heaven's name would you EXPECT us to put them up! I wanna say to them: No..we just throw them up there in any old order and then memorize their location...that's why we get paid these wonderfully low wages!

GRRRR!

;)

Jorath Calar 11-07-2002 06:49 AM

Hah, that Creed one is great...

and You should hear the questions I got when I worked in a convenience store few years agoe. It was a "Clockshop", called called 10-11 and it was open fron 10 in the morning to 11 in the night... and I don't know how many times I got a phone call and someone asking whenwe closed.

Also the classic "Are you open?" question... "no its hot in here so the doors are are open you moron".

sigh people
