I was listening to MP3, SUDDENLY, I heard phone ringing from head phone. I was freaked out for a while. then I turn off the mp3, and closed all my window, the phone was still ringing! omg, what was that? it was not my phone, and it was not cellaphone... it is just ringing from my headphone. what was that??? jesus, has that ever happen to anyone before? I am restarting my computer, this shit is weird.

Mobile phones, cordless phones, TVs, walkie talkies, and radios can intercept phonecalls and two-way radio conversations, but they all have aerials, and so can intercept the radio waves...

Make sure you don`t have some kind of a phone call reciever running without asking you... press Ctrl-Alt-Delete if it happens again, and see what you recognise. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Scholarcs- Dialup internet is connected directly to the phoneline, so if you could intercept phonecalls through it, you should have been able to do the same with a phone on that same line.

no no, it is an mp3 site I visited. it has this pop up thing. I forgot which one, but as soon as the pop comes out, the phone starts ringing from my computer. it is obvious a program, but I cannot shut it down... it freaked me out at first though.
