It's a mass marketed cake product. Small spongey cakes with cream filling.

That please...
Cake...
Me want cake...
Me want cake please...
I'll have that small spongey cake with a cream filling...
</font>

That golden sponge cake makes a great dessert. They have three puncture hole's in it's flat part where special ingredients are placed. (Very sofisticated machinery I might add )
They must be eaten in 3 bites and to your best ability, equal amounts of twinkized cream in each one.
Remember- 2 Twinkees in a plastic wrapper can be worth 100 times it's original price if you break it out at just the right moment ;) --

That has to be the kindest description of a Twinkie I have ever read in my life!

"Binky-Twinkie" ROFL! I'll have to promise Binky in blood to never use it LOL it is just too tempting after reading this (hilarious) thread!

Beaumanoir 10-17-2002 04:17 PM

Well Ok, If thats generous, what is the REAL description of a twinkie?

SecretMaster 10-17-2002 04:28 PM

Oh man, I hate twinkies.

T/-/alali 10-17-2002 04:54 PM

MMM Twinky *Drools*. J/king they are pretty good though when they are old. :D
I think its because all the preservatives evaporate out of them. :D

Oh that was an accurate description! I said it was "kind" LOL!

Here is a pic straight from Stan & Denise's White Trash Parties of their cousin Drew and his friend Cindy showing theirs off...(I do not know these people and found the site doing a search for Twinkie at ditto.com LOL...This pic just happens to show both sides...you can see the one one the left's bottom, where the filling was put into it. Apparently a 20 year shelf life for these things is an understatement...I'd bet that they could survive a nuclear blast...kinda like the "peeps" of everyday junk food.
