My new video card still doesnt want to make nice and I havent gotten any good advice on what to do about it, except from LoA taht is but that is a last ditch of course. So for now until I figure out what is up with it I will stick with the Voodoo I have had for going on 3 years now.

heh I have a friend that lives in El Paso and she was telling me about them haveing to break out there sweat's and thermal underware, I spit my drink out I laughed so hard. You just have to find humor in the weather even when it is ripping your roof from the house.
My voodoo 3 2000 is still a good card, but for the applications that I am doing in school I need more POWER [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well I haven't gone that far yet LOL...my sweats and thermal underwear are still packed from last winter but rest assured, there will be nights when I'll be digging them out.
I did wear closed-toed shoes today...for the first time since early spring LOL.
To think I grew up in Ohio where people are still probably gpoing barefoot this time of year LOL...thank goodness I'm here now because not only would I have the sweats and thermals out in 60 degree weather but I'd also be stocking up on firewood. (way too much work lol)

As currently I have no new games to play and school work that only requires that I have Word and Excel, I can survive with the 3 3500. *sigh* lol

I'm in an excellent mood today for two reasons:

1) Have you ever played that game in the library, where you sneak a book into someone's back pack (usually on an embarassing subject) and they set off the sensors, and the book is read out loud to everyone? I had a full day of that today, with such fun books as : Homosexuality: Stand up for your Rights, the Dangers of Teen Pregnancy (put of course, in a guy's backpack), and of course, that all time favorite "The Problems with our School System and It's Teachers." :D

2) I applied for a job, and I will get an interview. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img] It's at a computer place, and if I work there, I get discounts such as a Radeon 9700 Pro for $150 [img]graemlins/jawdrop.gif[/img] :D

AAAHHH. Have just been informed of the need to return to hospital. I hate that place, so depressing. :( Let me recount my last major experience at a hospital.

Nurse - "Would a Mr. Portman please come to the desk."
So up I shuffle, on crutches (my leg's broken.) At the front of the line is some woman
Annoying Lady - "Excuse me, I was here first, and my baby is having incredible life-threatening pain due to an ear infection! Look, it's oozing out!"
*pan to a healthy looking child, busy messing up the In/Out timetable*
Annoying Lady - "You see!!!"
My dad - "Listen lady, they called us up, so tough cookies {so it wasn't really cookies ;) }"
Nurse - *smiling her @$$ off*

It gets better in 2 years, when I no longer have to go to the "Children's" Hospital. I've always wondered what it must be like to bring in your baby and see, in front of you, a 6'3" giant. :D

Good Luck on your exams whacky! I just sat down to go over the math I need to know tomorrow and was totally BLANK! Now I am scared LOL. Well, I am full enough of Biology/Nutrition information that I know I'll do well on that one at least! (sheesh lol)
