Two 15 year olds are being sent back to school after being expelled by the head master. The two boys threatened their PE teacher with answer machine messages, saying that he was going to die, had 5 days to live, etc. They got expelled, but the local council have sent them back to school. One of the mothers actually had the nerve to go on TV and say "My son is not a monster". She said she didn't want him attending a technical school because "the education is not what normal students would have". HELLO, lady, your son is ahrdly a 'normal student'!!! Oh yeah, the British school system is soooo well organised. :rolleyes:

Actually, the staff at the school are dead against the boys coming back (and who could blame them?) and have threatened to strike.

Well, i can't blame the teachers and other schoolpersonel. Making death threats shouldn't be rewarded.

The boys threaten to kill a teacher and then are let back into school? hmmm... If they were in America they would be locked up for a loooooong time in Juvenile hall. They have NO tolerance for that over here. That is of course if the child's parents are rich, because in that case, they would just hire a really good lawyer and the kid would be back in school before you know it. Gotta love that American legal system.

it's like saying to the staff "hah, we can send too idiots back to school and you can't do anything about it. Several twats have been expelled from mine-for good reasons-and their parents bitched but my headteacher had solid proof of why they were expelled including CITV footage.

I was reading about this in the paper. Apparently the group which got them back in school was partial funded by the National Lottery. Sorry, Lotto its called now.

But bloody hell, whatever its called its supposed to give out money to good causes, not to getting sick little psychos back into school when they clearly need something else.

I think that what ever discepline you implement it needs to consistent. I dont beat my kids like hunters link sugests, but I will fallow through with a spanking if my kids dont respond to my threat of one. Kids will act up no matter what how you punish them, but it will be way worse if they see a weak side. Meaning, If you threatin a spanking and only give then the corner treatment, then they will not respect your word.
