Hey, I'm just telling you what Ziroc told me. I didn't see the post, and I don't care anything about it anyway. Not my business anymore. You asked, and I told you. Get your own facts straight.

whatever then, lets see what ziroc says this time

Cloudbringer 10-10-2002 01:22 PM

I won't comment on the thread's contents, as I didn't see it either, but if a thread is full of bad language, you can expect it to be removed since that's against the rules and regs Z set up.

250, you might want to email Ziroc with this question, as this thread violates the TOS. We aren't supposed to post threads asking about deleted threads. I'm sure he'll be glad to clear things up if you email him.

Rimjaw 10-10-2002 01:28 PM

So which member let loose with the swearing? I was the last guy to reply to the thread and I don't remember swearing. Unless of course I made a major typo error.

250 10-10-2002 01:28 PM

but there wasnt any bad language AT ALL!!! it was mostly peaceful discussing! but thanks cloudy, btw, where did it say we arent supposed to post this topic? just curious

In the Rules and Regulation...

Also, if you see a thread/post deleted or closed, DO NOT post a new message asking where the thread/post went or why it was closed. These types of questions can be answered by emailing your webmaster

Cloudbringer 10-10-2002 09:32 PM

Hi Leo! Yes, as Luvian said, the rules and regs do say not to post a thread or ask on the board about deleted or closed material. Instead it's better to email Ziroc about such things. Usually a mod will post to the thread if he or she is closing it, though.

The Trickster 10-10-2002 11:29 PM

I'm not going to get caught up in all the politics, but I'm sure Ziroc closed it for a good reason. I posted in that thread, and I don't recall anything out of the ordinary, but we can't question the moderator's decisions.

Calm down 250, it's all good!

Maybe Choc doesn't like Winona Ryder either! ;)

Yes, 250. YOU know you said the 'f' word in your post. You know that word is a no-no here. So stop posting messages with that kind of language, it's totally not needed.

Now that I think of it you did use that word. I seem to recall it being in your first post in the thread. That thread should still be on the HDD on my home comp, I could dig it out and email it to you if you wanted.

Mouse 10-11-2002 08:12 AM

250 - take a step back here. Don't start demanding that the mods or Ziroc inform you before deleting a post with profanity in it. You would be better advised to take a deep breath and cut such language out of posts before you hit the submit button.

There is a very good piece of advice I was once given - "When you're in a hole, stop digging ;) "

If you really want to make an issue out of this, I suggest you e-mail Z and wait for his response.

G'day 250, just chill out, ok dude? People don't have to complain for a post to not be OK. You also don't have to be advised if a post vanishes - some of us do it out of courtesy, but there's no obligation to do so.

In any case, foaming at the mouth and ranting and raving because your post got deleted IS a violation of our ToS, as is ranting and raving at the webmaster because he deleted it. Posting a thread asking about a vanished post is also a violation of ToS - you'll probably get a better reply by emailing one of the moderators of that forum. Come on, mate - you've been here long enough, you should know how things work here by now. :D

It's just a post, for goodness' sake. Just chill, baby!! :D

250 10-11-2002 11:25 AM

the point is, I wasn't swearing at any one, in anger or not, nor with whatever ill-intention. it was so small, I didnt even notice it, and no one else knew about it. hell, I dont even believe I did swear.

heh, aint it funny? so I guess he wasnt messing with me? I guess I am just paranoided then. oh yeah, I forgot even if he was, I wouldn't be able to do shit about it. plus this is the only place he can anyways. fine by me.

btw, I am here long enough, Genie, but I never knew you shouldnt post to ask about missing post. consider it my first time.

Cloudbringer 10-11-2002 11:31 AM

hey 250 (and anyone else who may not have noticed it)- click the rules and regulations button on the top of the page- in the Terms of Service you'll find this

Also, if you see a thread/post deleted or closed, DO NOT post a new message asking where the thread/post went or why it was closed. These types of questions can be answered by emailing your webmaster

which is what Luvian quoted in his post earlier in the thread.

No worries mate, there's always a first time for everyone, and that's cool. It's the second time that you start to worry, and the third time that you REALLY should start to worry. ;)

andrewas 10-11-2002 11:52 AM

OK, found that thread. My local copy only goes up to trickesters post, but I was right, you swore right at the start.

I also noticed you did the same thing in your last post in this thread. I usualy pause a minute and edit or even cancel my post, specialy if Im heated up about something. Its not hard to do, and it saves this kind of aggro.

The fact is that you did use the 'f' word. and that is why I removed your post. Just don't use that word (We have asked you kindly in the past).
